I am so intrigued by the barrier repair cream. What a timely release for winter skin! Drink Elephant knows what they’re doing! 🐘 I don’t blame your daughters! I would totally try to steal your cute tote bag, too! It’s fantastic!! I’d buy one if they put it in their shop!
Although I don’t need this particular product, Drunk Elephant is one of my all time favorite brands!! I do use multiple brands of skin care for different needs but what I use are the same brands I’ve used for years. My rotation includes Drunk Elephant, Sunday Riley, Dr. Dennis Gross, Kate Somervillle, Tatcha, and Kiehls. Now most brands I only use certain products, like the peel pads from Dr Gross, cleansers/toners from Kiehls, Cleansers/scrubs/moisturizers from Tatcha, and serums and oils from Sunday Riley. With that, I agree Drunk Elephant has high quality products that deliver as stated. I haven’t really tried anything I didn’t love from their skin care to body care, everything is too notch. I think the only thing I was on the fence about was their cleansing balm, the texture wasn’t my favorite but it’s a preference, not reflective of the product. I too have “suggestible” skin so I’m always cocktailing products to support my skin needs. I love with all of DE products things can be cocktailed to make the routine easier. Have you tried the new Bouncy mask?? That is my new fav from them!
I have not tried the mask. I will now! You named all the brands I’ve loved. Just so many have that plateau. And it is so frustrating. Have not had it with DE
T- I think I have a solution for storing hair tools. It involves a pressure mounted shower curtain rod and large Ziploc bags with handles as well as S shaped shower curtain rod clips… would go across the front of the under cabinet area in the bathroom or across a small unused upper wall in a closet or bathroom entry. More soon as I learn.
I’m just so impressed by the new cream. I’ve been using it a lot and now I’m starting to take a day or two off so that it doesn’t get too hydrated but those dry areas are gone. And it’s not greasy

I'm DYING to get my hands on the new cream, as I'm sitting here in Canada with sandpaper like skin. I use the Tatcha serum in cream at night but it's too greasy for day time and the Lala and Protini aren't enough, so I cannot tell you how excited I am about this new one!! I love DE products and always come back to them if I try something else. I love that sweatshirt but it's only available in white on the Canadian website; I might get the tshirt though. AND A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO DRUNK ELEPHANT for having a REAL Canadian website, in Canadian dollars with free shipping! So very rare.
I LOVE that DE looks out for those in Canada. That's FANTASTIC! And, YES, exactly, this moisturizer is NOT greasy. It's thick but feels thin on the face. And SO soothing.

What makes skincare so different from majeuo, for me, is that even something works, I don't want to rock the boat. You just described the same thing. I’m so glad you’re reviewing this. I am very interested in this. I’ve tried so many so called rich creams that have done nothing. Sometimes thick and heavy creams are just that and nothing more. Believe me I have tried so many brands from cosmetically elegant to those sold by physicians. There is only one, Lipid Gold, that has made a difference. It also isn’t one that leaves a residue. A cream that leaves a sticky, tacky residue is a hard pass for me. For my general skin care, my heart belongs to Medik8. I love their Crystal Retinal 20. I’ve used Crystal Retinal since its inception. But, I’m always looking for a great moisturizer. Thank you! Again, you look so pretty.❤️🤩❤️

I like DE. I use their chemical exfoliant (love it) and 2 of their eye cream. The one with vit C I like the most and now I have one with ceramides (Ceramidity I thiink is the name). Both of them are for day time and they go well with concealer on top.:)

I think it's the marula fruit, and DE uses marula in products, that the elephants eat. They have a 100%, beautiful btw, marula oil, and it's within other products as well. Thank you so much! I've had some great experience with several of their products as well!
I've done okay with Drunk Elephant but feel that pretty much across the board, there are products from other brands that I like a lot better. You do make me want to go back to it though. The new cream does look like it has potential!

Recently changed over my skincare from Tatcha to Drunk Elephant and am liking it so far. That new Bora cream is exactly what I was looking for so will buy that when it’s released.

It doesn't specifically. That being said, skin can be very individual. IF the ingredients match in any form, def stay away. I have certain brands that are actually meant for allergy sufferers and they break me out terribly. It's such a personal thing with skin. ❤️

It's quite pricey and I'm not sure of the ethics of encouraging elephants to drink alcohol - it sounds like they'll have a jolly time but the neighbours might be a bit put out 😉 Anyway thanks for the review again. :)

I've been using more for dryness. I tend to use my Tatcha indigo for any redness BUT BUT any redness DUE to dryness yes, absolutely.
