Same here. And Nissan wouldn't have so many new Leafs sitting on lots if they could've switched to CCS or NACS years ago. Such a terrible oversight when I have to pick a Bolt EV with thin seats just because it uses CCS. I loved the test drive of the first gen Leaf years ago. The paltry range won't cut it in colder climates and rural settings.
Discounts! The incentives now are no different than they were 10 yrs ago. I should put down over $4k on a lease for only 10k miles a year on an entry level car just to get a still high monthly payment. Ridiculous.
Wow. I had 4 Nissans! Almost bought another one last month but found out they are not like they were in the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's. Bought a Mazda CX-50. Sorry Nissan 💔.
As a titan owner i approve of this message. I got mine for 27K out the door brand new in 2017. They charge way to much for their product. Why pay for a titan when i can get a truck with more name recognition for the same or less money. Its a shame because my titan is great and had solid V8. Add that it is simple to work on and its easy to see why people like them. Botton line they should have undercut other manufacturers with simple, rock solid, and dependable cars and trucks. But no they got caught up in 50 to 60k vehicles game while not keeping up with others regarding technology. They deserve what is happening to them.
I HOPE TO GOD NISSAN COMPLETELY CHANGES TO HONDA SO THAT HONDA IS THE ONE DOING EVERYTHING SO THAT THEY CAN ACTUALLY MAKE VEHICLES THAT ARE WORTH A F*** AGAIN
@AlexAlex-gs1xh Exactly, there are tons of engine recalls from every major manufacturer. Funnily enough, Nissan's one of the only companies that does not have so many engine recalls. Only the new Rogue has had a few engine issues, but nothing like Toyota or Honda has seen in the last years.
Honestly, I have thought for years that a Nissan designed sports car with a Honda engine (possibly with a Mitsubishi turbocharger) and an Acura/Mitsubishi torque vectoring AWD system could be pretty cool. I just never thought it might actually be a possibility at some point.
I think what tradicional companies are against with, it is not their scale big or small, putting 2 slowly phasing out companies together can be a scary thought. I believe none of these 2 companies are in need of merger but what desperately needed is a transformation in corporate culture, in defining digital life change to consumer-product expectation, a more frictionless shopping experience, a product that is not spec and styling driven, rethink cost structure in ai manufacturing and transaction models, that can produce cars that are affordable and works for consumers’ lives.
Sometimes i dont understand multi million-maybe even billion dollar companies. If you value a product at its worth, your business will thrive. If you dont. You lose.
If only Nissan would give free adapters to any prospective Leaf buyer, they'd get their cars off their lots. I know I'd get one if they made such an offer or provided a free swap from CHAdeMO to CCS Combo or NACS port. Sadly, I have to pass on even buying a new Leaf in favor of a used Bolt EV or Bolt EUV. The last thing I need is to lose the capacity to make long trips after five years.
Honda Nissan and Mitsubishi should be interesting. Maybe Nissan and Mitsubishi could make a small truck with an actual differential and rear drive with a 5 or 6 speed manual, no turbo charged bs, extended cab available, REASONABLY PRICED,????? Maybe 25,000 decently equipped. (25,000$ REASONABLE?? OH NO IVE LOST IT TOO😊.
Shocked? I've been reading speculation about this for awhile now. Surely, if regular folks/commenters online were aware of this possibility, then you were, too?
And don’t mention Nissan is not Datsun Nissan and Mitsubishi and Nissan share a lot of stuff already just came out of a 22 pathfinder 🗑️ never buy Nissan again
If Honda merges with Nissan they better throw out all the Nissan designs, designers, engineers, parts, and start fresh with all things Honda, otherwise they’ll be DOOMED.
Maybe if they brought the price of new vehicles back down to where they were a few years ago, they would actually sell some vehicles.

Get rid of those stupid and unreliable cvt transmissions
Exactly if Nissan starts using Honda CVT’s it would work a lot better
Honda CVTs have been blowing up left and right. CVTs just fail if you don't take care of them and consumers typically don't take care of their cars.
Start bringing cars with manual transmission
@@burgavo1127
With CD player too huh! 😂

I love my Altima. I never saw prices on Nissan that were gouging. Could have been on trucks as I never looked at those
I wouldn’t own a Nissan even if it were gifted to me.
Nissan has already lost 2 lawsuits for selling cars with trash transmissions
Wow. I had 4 Nissans! Almost bought another one last month but found out they are not like they were in the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's. Bought a Mazda CX-50. Sorry Nissan 💔.
Nissan would benefit from this acquisition. I approve.
They have come a long way since making ramen soup.
I as well.
Wake me when the Honda Odyssey is available in an AWD hybrid

Titan is still cheaper than others... 57k is high but the others are 80k...
I HOPE TO GOD NISSAN COMPLETELY CHANGES TO HONDA

I can't focus on anything but the curl combover
@ChristopherWGray
🤣
Honda quality will now sink.
I think so too but hopefully we're wrong and we get the best of them both
Honda quality has been trash for quite a while. Nissan has higher quality lmao.
@Jimster481 hell nah lol
Bro honda already has recalls 1.4 mil emgine failing including acura before this deal.
They'll be making a skyline lancer type r
Honda quality been sinking!
Toyota too! They all need to get right!
Your hair is mesmerizing
If they merge… I’m not likely to ever buy another Honda. That’s just me
Honestly, I have thought for years that a Nissan designed sports car with a Honda engine (possibly with a Mitsubishi turbocharger) and an Acura/Mitsubishi torque vectoring AWD system could be pretty cool. I just never thought it might actually be a possibility at some point.
I hope they save the Z and GTR!
so what is ur saying is that if the new generation of the gtr is ass we blame mitsubishi 😭
Not gonna work Gm didn’t same with Toyota and couldn’t cut it so they backed out 😂
Man keep Mitsubishi away from Honda and Nissan.....they should stick to making forklifts!!!!
No u know nothing. Mitsubishi has awesome cars like the outlander cheaper than any overpriced toyota.
Why would Honda want anything to do with that trainwreck?
Honda just wants the GTR. Imagine a Honda GTR or a luxury version of it in Acura. Everything else they can give to Mitsubishi.
Mergers are BAD for the consumer. Period
I think what tradicional companies are against with, it is not their scale big or small, putting 2 slowly phasing out companies together can be a scary thought.

My 2002 Xterra has 200,000 miles and is STILL my daily driver. I will buy a new Xterra when it is finally released in 2026. 😊
You guys are in the dmv?
It's not a merger it's a takeover by Honda. Will this be the Stellantis of the East?
Honda should just let nissan go under instead of trying to help them. I don't see what honda has to gain if they join together
There goes Honda down the drain.
Sometimes i dont understand multi million-maybe even billion dollar companies. If you value a product at its worth, your business will thrive. If you dont. You lose.
My local mitsubishi dealer just closed. They were open for less than a year.
Dealerships: It's not our fault. 😂😂😂😂

Don’t do it Honda !!!!!!
Honda's gonna pick up some deals, & fix them later.
I don’t believe the 12-14 months story. If it was true, their credit rating would have been downgraded at this point.
The Titan is a far far better truck then the new POS Tundra.
Make Nissan great again!
Let Nissan fail--they have nothing to offer Honda.
What will happen to Infinity ?
Nissan going out of business
Should I hesitate to purchase Nissan because of this?
Those junk cvt's don't help them at all.
Honda sales down 50%.
Why can’t Nissan sell cars?
Honda does this im going to Toyota
Nonda. Hissan. Ninda. Hossan. Hossda. Honsson.
Pick your fave.
All names are already taken by Chinese manufacturers!
A Honda skyline?
Wait it was not a Honda from the beginning? *Joking*
Nissan gave up reliability, especially with transmission. No hybrids, poor EVs. Nobody wants to buy Nissan.
Shocked? I've been reading speculation about this for awhile now. Surely, if regular folks/commenters online were aware of this possibility, then you were, too?
Or was it the bad CVTs?
Honda is no better. On par with Nissan. None of these companies can compete with TM. Very unfortunate.
Questionable information
Honda needs nissan.
Honda teams up with Gm, sony, mitsubishi and now nissan cause they suck
And don’t mention Nissan is not Datsun Nissan and Mitsubishi and Nissan share a lot of stuff already just came out of a 22 pathfinder 🗑️ never buy Nissan again
Unofficial
Oh dear, Honda will get bad or nissan will get better. Nissan transmissions suk
Brush your hair
Rats nest😅
If Honda merges with Nissan they better throw out all the Nissan designs, designers, engineers, parts, and start fresh with all things Honda, otherwise they’ll be DOOMED.
Just the JATCO CVT. These should have been gone years ago.
I hope they go outta business with their terrible ass build quality and subpar design.
