Facial and physical differences are once again used to portray “𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘵” in humanity and it’s past time to STOP. ⁣

We encourage all the writers, PAs, actors, MUAs, directors and producers to start speaking up and demanding better skits that don’t rely on tired tropes to make points or comedy. ⁣

While I understand what you're saying, I liked the sketch. Ultimately the humor wasn't in his deformity, but in people's (incorrect) assumptions about the disabled. I think the humor is in the fact that the man exploits people's assumptions that he's ugly and therefore grateful for any affection he might receive, while in truth he's a ladies man who knows how to wield fascination with his disability to manipulate the "normies" and can easily get exactly what he wants.

If you are referring to the "Anamolous Man" sketch, it was clearly a parody of "The Elephant Man". John Merrick's entire body was deformed, not just his head.

I think you got the premise backward. The SNL skit was actually in your favor. It was showing that she had made assumptions about someone who was disfigured. She assumed that because he was deformed, he couldn't be a ladies' man.
Also, The Anomalous Man was animalistic with three talons and horns and an eye on his back...maybe you need to think about how YOU think of people with deformities because there's really no comparison here between this fictional character and a real life human being.
