Thanks for sharing. I went to a dermatologist in February and she recommended the Men's Rogaine Foam once daily and a prescription topical steroid one week per month. I'm five months in and definitely see an improvement although it's nothing major. After 90 days I followed up with the dermatologist and she suggested I refrain from coloring and relaxing my hair. I'm going to give it a try for now but I can't make any promises on how long it will be because my hair is very unmanageable without a relaxer and truthfully going natural is not for me. Good luck please keep us posted on your journey.

This is encouraging. Thanks! Question: How did you work this into an existing daily moisturizing routine? Does it dilute it? Are there any typical hair care ingredients to avoid because it/they will counteract Minoxidil? Curious about how this aspect works/factors in. Any insight you may have would be greatly appreciated! Also, are you still using this or any other product for growth with success (just noticed this was posted 4 years ago- LOL)

@@101Simoneb Yes, lol. I've used it off and on through the last several years. The only thing that is truly noticeable for me is that the hairline (which is naturally thin) fills out a lot and my baby hair is VERY pronounced. So much so, that my sister had previously commented on it. Once I stop, the baby hairs thin out but everywhere else I used it in my scalp is the same, no thinning or breakage.
I might begin using it again on September 1st.

Also this is a mediation that goes into your blood system and can cause, dizziness, palpitations, racing heartbeat etc. If you are on any medications you should look for these signs. I'm speaking from a health provider stand point and it's on the bottle. As far as shampoo and conditioner you can use anything that is a DHT blocker and freeze conditioner. @goodcustomer4823 4 года назад

@@theslayologist I don't think those hair injections are safe or as effective as minoxidil. I think you should have stuck with Minoxidil. Once you start using minoxidil and you stop using it, your skin acclimates to it so if you start using the drug again it won't be as effective as it once was. So you have to be consistent with the minoxidil if you're going to be using it. No going off and on on it because the skin acclimates to the drug and then drug is not effective no more as it once was.

I'm a 27 year old man and I noticed my hairline recited a little on my left side😭😞 so I guess I should start using this drug minoxidil. But I heard like all medications your body gets used to it and you need a higher dose and eventually the medication/drugs don't work from the tolerance of years of using it. I heard people build up a tolerance to the drug after 4 years to 5 years so they stop and then they lose even way more hair and then they start using it again but it won't be as effective😞 but still i think it's a great drug. Soon i think I'll start using minoxidil and I'll buy a scalp massager.
