Hi Vickky mama, I'm a new fan and I've watched almost all your videos and taken notes, this is my first time asking a question and i have just one. While i was in secondary school, i wasn't really a serious student my average was between 60 to 70. Though after coming out, I've gone for many seminars on tech and i have coding certificates and graphic designing certificates. I also created a coding club for underprivileged in my area and other related stuff, i found my footing only after I've left school. Korea is one of the leading countries in tech with Samsung and all so i wanna go there, all this leads to my question. Are grades a criteria for applying for undergraduate gks scholarship? My grades aren't low, they're just average, do i have a chance? Sorry for making this long, thanks for your future reply. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you too.
Yeah grades play a huge part but at least all applicants must meet the minimum requirements (grade). Which if you've watched my other GKS videos, you'd see it there. Since you show a strong extracurricular has you've highlighted build on that with evidences - cert, recommendations etc. Also, choosing tech major boost your chances. Honestly, there's no time for part-time jobs because you'd be busy with research in the lab but if you're not obligated to go to the lab then you can but it's just few hours depending on your TOPIK score.

You need to have evidence like TOPIK etc for the GKS application first Speaking Korean might help during the interview and there are lots of opportunities in Korea too like part-time jobs, influencer etc.

You do not need to authenticate their NIN. Just add them as supplementary docs because your birth cert already shows they're Nigerians.
