That's one of the best Batman head and cowl representations I've ever seen. It draws the eye in every pose. I love it and I'd be proud to have the figure in my display. Liked and subscribed. The "Hammers of Justice" line made me LOL. I'm looking forward to digging through the archive here.
7:38 ah yes, Batman doing what he does best, holding hands with his boyfriend On another note, this is an incredible custom! Although I'm using a different buck for my batman, I will definitely take some pointers from your custom to make mine. (I may end up buying a Guardian to make Midnighter though)
Trick I use for logos is print them out on paper, place a piece of clear shipping tape over one. Cut out the symbol you have the tape over. Then apply whatever material/substance over it. I use some stuff from that as seen on t.v. Flex seal company(even used their flex tape for this before) gives it that nice rubberized real Batman suit logo feel and doesn't need to be painted because it's already black.looks really high end. I love use this technique on custom clothed 1\12 scale figures as well. Works well using sculpt for an all plastic figure look. Another trick if you really want to spend the time is taking a headsculpt like the one you used, keep heating it up and neatly cutting out the mouth(exposed facial areas),eyes, and hollowing it out. Then pop in another figures face underneath. Wolverine figures are great for this. Especially when the yellow suit apocalypse wave one was so readily available. Hasbro sort of already does it with that figure so you just have to pull his black wedge things off his mask. You're already doing fine enough on your own but it's always fun to share some ways of doing stuff that aren't obvious and being shared by everyone.
I'm still in the middle of making my own custom Batman, and I've just finished with the joints, and I would very much suggest getting a rotary tool. Makes life 8x easier. Got one from Harbor freight for $10, and it works perfectly. Also, using the punisher belt is genius for Batman. I may have to try that.
Trekformer Hey thanks for the advice I might try to get one lol, And yeah the Punisher belt works really well for a classic Batman pouch type of utility belt
"Holly marvel legends-batman,..Batman!" Yo this is so dope, cause I'm all marvel but I do want a ML style bats, thank you so much for this very intuitive video, I've dipped only a lil in customizing figs for myself, made a few I'm proud of and like GRIFTER, spawn, aoa gambit, and belladonna, and now I'ma try this batman tmrw, I have never used clay so what's the best and where to get it, and again thanks
Chris Jordan Thanks man! I use a brand called Milliput Epoxy clay/putty. I think any two part epoxy clay would be good for customizing figures (not entirely sure, I’ve only ever used Milliput, but a lot of the pros at customizing use different brands). Check out your local hobby/arts and crafts stores like Hobby Lobby or just shop online to find the clay for you
I apologize about being late to the party but I just recently found your channel. This is an amazing custom! I’m still very much a novice customizer but this gives me something to work towards! Look forward to seeing more creations
Hey everyone! Throughout this video I mention my Superman custom, you can check out a video on how I made that figure here: ruclips.net/video/anafW1DOCxg/видео.html
I love this! I thought the same thing about that figure. It’s really the head sculpt. 😂 I’m going to be making my own. I’m glad someone else saw what I did.
Awesome custom dude I'm actually doing a Batman custom using the same Marvel Legends Guardian body that you using in this video but I swapped the guardian head to a Peter Parker head
have a question, I have the same fig and just wanting to remove the paint so I can customize it.. does rubbing alcohol work as well? and if it does how long will it take to come off after I have applied the alcohol
Great job, try dying your figure. Because most of him was white prior to this the dye would have taken to the plastic real well. Rit dye for synthetic materials. Check it out.
Check out my complete set of custom Justice League figures!

That's one of the most beautiful custom on a marvel legends buck
7:18 Jim Gordon: WHAT HAPPENED TO NO GUNS!!! Batman: THIS IS A GUN?!

steve the man101
Thanks man I appreciate that
Hey man what did you use to shave it down?
I love this! I thought the same thing about that figure. It’s really the head sculpt. 😂 I’m going to be making my own. I’m glad someone else saw what I did.
Great paint job, great job overall.
Gonna use this tutorial as a guide to make an alex ross batman! Thank you
Awesome custom dude I'm actually doing a Batman custom using the same Marvel Legends Guardian body that you using in this video but I swapped the guardian head to a Peter Parker head
Fantastic custom man!
Hammad Ahmed
Thanks man!
Amazing job! Strangely , I was looking at the Guardian head and thought it'd be an awesome Batman head. You beat me to the punch.
Wow this figure is pretty custom 😮😮😮😮
This figure went from zero to hero
Great custom but instead of it being a marvel legend it's now a DC Legend
Nice custom.
A year late but damn this looks clean 💯🔥
Are you watching McFarland dc this is how u do batman good job bro keep it up
Yo, I ain't gonna lie. I'm half expecting you to make a Wonder Woman custom at this point now.
Jorge Uzumaki
Don’t be surprised if I do lol
@@SpoonDude
Hell yeah. Been following your stuff since your Miles custom, been loving every custom you've made so far!
Jorge Uzumaki
Thanks for the support, man!
Yeah I hate those knee joints too. I fixed them on my Prowler figure.
Battle Frame Studios
Idk why Hasbro made them so limited when they could’ve easily just cleared more space for them
Awesome work! I think this is what most of us wanted from a DC line …. Instead we got mcfarlane…😅
Are you planning to make variants of Batman like Zur-En-Arrh or no?
Very cool
What would be a good unmasked head for that custom and that would look like an unmasked Guardian head?
😂 And of course he can hold..........hands. lol 👍🏻👍🏻
You should make a wonder woman
Figures with sound wave
I really should
Do you do commissions? By the way this batman is SICK!
Alex Ross 👌
have a question, I have the same fig and just wanting to remove the paint so I can customize it.. does rubbing alcohol work as well? and if it does how long will it take to come off after I have applied the alcohol
Do you have a pattern or something for the cape
Hey bro what type of clay is that and do it stay good and hard
You can make a custom bane from the crimson dynamo BAF crossbones!
Hey man, i tried the paint rub technique but i ended up with the joints kinda loose, did you experienced any of that?
Epic
This Batman reminds me of the short film called Batman Dead End
U should make a firestorm ronnie raymond figure
Amazing!
Dxrk Productions
Thanks!
Can you do a flash dc to a marvel flash with butter fly joints i think that will be a bad ass
Good
what tools do you use?
Great job, try dying your figure. Because most of him was white prior to this the dye would have taken to the plastic real well. Rit dye for synthetic materials. Check it out.
I wish this was was an actual mass produced figure that I could buy
That head was made for batman
Jared Berrones I wholeheartedly agree sir
You need to work somewhere designing and making action figures out of old molds
Well i wil try to make my own Batman Marvel legends figure
Make a red hood
Mr.spoon was this hard to make
You should make the 1989 batman figure!
Also Awesome work on your figure, looks Amazing!
can make custom Shazam
Oh. My. God.
That head is Alex Ross
Needs more shading
okloha _
Yeah it might, but I kinda like how clean it looks without too much shading
Spoon Dude the thing is the reason it looks weird because its all black and not a tint of blue
okloha _
I loosely based this custom off of Alex Ross’s Batman, he usually paints Batman with just a straight black like a lot of other artists do
I got those 2 same figures
I think he looks more like Judge Dredd.
👌🤘
How dare you distract a 👌 figure
Hi
Why is the paint so like not clean??? Is it your paint?
Nvm far away it looks like it
Decent custom could be better.
KGLAProductions
You right
You must be broke if you can’t buy a Batman figure
That’s not why I made a custom Batman figure but okay
@@SpoonDude ok broke boy
Excellent work!
Im M thanks!
hi
