Received mine a week ago. A little scared to start the assembly of the machine 😟. I'll have to start-stop this tutorial every few seconds to ensure that I am completing each step as Elegoo intended. Thanks for tutorial, Elegoo!

why only a single synchronous belt on y-axis? wouldn't it lead to skewing of x-axis over time
there's two belts on Y? it'll pull the gantry up equally on either side
I had an issue installing mine that I believe is a factory installation mishap. My belt's do not spin in the same direction. I know the cause of this issue but I cannot fix it as the metal part at the end of the belt cannot go under the wheel (which I don't think it is supposed to be under the wheel in the first place).

Hey did they help you, cause I’m having the same issue with mine. The belts go in opposite directions.
@@phantomzero906 they did yeah. I was able to fix mine by luck I think. That metal end on the belt was able to pass under the wheel so I was able to change which way the belt turned so that they both went the same direction.
Mine arrived today ;-) I already noticed i forgot to add the orange screen to the back lol.
Does anybody have a video that they can show me how to thread and secure the rubber belt on the X Axis as mine came off when I was moving the machine. I have tried and tried various ways of trying to secure the rubber belt but it appears too short ? Please help , I only got the machine delivered today. Thankyou
yes its shit with the belts but as its in the manual with the teeth up
Does phecda 10W comes with 8bit or 32bit controller?
The best on mine isn't even a closed belt. Whqt do we do about that 🤨 This ontop of my box arriving with shoeprints all over it.
the belts are not closed they 1 long strand with metal clips on the end those clips attach to little slots on the x axis gantry, they have a video on replacing belts so you can see how they attach.

Is it using gcode?? I would like to buy lightburn but there are 3 options as to controller. I can't find answer to this simple question anywhere in manual or on website

The baffle screw after installing the x axis is rediculous
I know you've probably already set up your machine, but the *instructions for the baffle screw install are so stupid.
1) Turn the machine on its side
2) Put the screw in the hole directly (easy to do w/ fingers, it's wide open, gravity will keep it in place)
3) stick screw driver through hole to meet screw
4) fin
Super easy. Did it both ways; sticking the driver/allen wrench through the hole was enough of a pain I decided to figure something else out.

@@ElegooOfficial I got the 10 Watt Version. I have Problems to engrave and cut . 80-90% power to 1000-6000 mm/min still very weak engrave.
Cutting 95% to 180 mm/min 3-4 times (3mm Wood)
Materialtests dont work well.
Fokus, air Assistent and honeycomb are on Point .

And that's an issue that can be solved with round about 10bucks and 15-20minutes time :D
I am a huge Elegoo fan. I own two of their resin printers BUT... I would NEVER recommend this engraver to a single person. The design of it is horrendous. Super goofy assembly and the directions are not very clear. Add on top of that a mislabeled screw bag (Yes, I figured it out). WHY would you design a rotary attachment that requires accessing the mother board EVERY TIME you use it? Why not a simple plug on the outer frame? The wiring harnesses and the air assist are not well thought out. The air assist is a total afterthought with ZERO integration and a hose that has no designed pathway, it just hangs under the plex screens. If you don't pay attention this thing will laser right through its own air tube and power cord. For it's size to only have a single belt seems way under designed. No actual functional software included? Seriously? Tried the mobile app, it is basically useless. Adjusting the engraving head for focus is one of the strangest things ever with two thumb screws in that do not have the best placement, especially the top one. Everything about this screams it has more of a $100 quality build instead of a $500 quality build - Very disappointed. Will probably be selling it and finding a better replacement for it.

@@ElegooOfficial FWIW, the screws were perfectly labeled and clear. Got mine a week ago, so sounds like they fixed this.
I wish I could afford one of these....
