You didn’t get into it, but the noncanon endings of both girls really showcase how much meaner Nina is to her sister with Anna being the other way around. With Nina, her endings consists of harming, embarrassing, and killing Anna while Anna’s has her being embarrassed by Nina, humiliating her, and even befriending her. It really makes you pity the girl.
I went from not liking Anna to upon retrospect years later liking her and feeling sorry for her. I mean her dad never loved her, she was jealous of Nina, she kept fighting her so much that she wanted it to end only for Nina to bring it back, Marduk nearly..........thank god THAT is non canon and finally the ONE time she could be happy, Nina once again had to take it away by killing Anna's future husband and the rivalry is brought back. Like.........come on let Anna have her own happiness Namco damn. And I thought Asuka had it worse but Anna been took the crown since Tekken 1 and is STILL mistreated. At least she has some sexy victory poses so it is something. Still, great look into this mistreated sister and loved your version of why she wasn't in Tekken 4 lol.

Both wanted the love of their fathers, only to be met with disapproval or punishments in Nebula's case. Anna for wanting a normal life and Nebula for her failed missions. This along with Nina & Gamora's( before he CD) cold & callous indifference towards their sisters feelings/ situations lead to both Anna and Nebula's hatred for their fathers & sisters. However Nebula's at least made peace with her Gamora, and Thanos... is uh a weird case as he did care for Nebula in his own twisted way. But Anna hasn't and as you said, it's pretty clear she was done by this point.
