Right next to that ball bearing (or next to the hole, in the case of the OEM carb), there is a brass nozzle that I can't identify. It doesn't appear in diagrams and I haven't found anyone in any TW groups who claim to know what it is or what it does. Anyway, the o-ring around that nozzle was broken when I removed the bowl. I'm going to try to pull a replacement from an assortment kit but it bothers me that everyone can see that part and no one seems to talk about it or what it does.
