I saw this video on Facebook and immediately came to RUclips to see if you're here so I can subscribe. This video is amazingly helpful, thank you so much for the thorough breakdown of how they're feeling, how the parent is feeling, and how to actually help.

I just want to say thank you. I am embarrassed and ashamed of how I’ve reacted in these situations. Thank you for the tools to be and do better.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, wisdom and kindness. I've come to realise that im almost always responding from an emotional state - and not just with my kids!
Trying to be a little better every day.

Mr. Chazz, I wish I had this when my daughter was in preschool. I got notes home that she was a biter for a while. Thankfully she grew out of it.
She’s 20 now. She has chronic illness. During a hospital stay a couple weeks ago, she cried a few times from the stress and overwhelm of it all. There were times as a baby she did the same. That inner child is always with us.
I told her I was there for her if she needed me, and I let my baby cry. I cried, too. Sometimes kids of all ages have big emotions. And the best way of helping is just being there. ❤

Love this! Great insight and very helpful, especially for someone like myself who has an autistic two year old.

Wow I don't understand any parent who would put a literal 1 year old (or any older child for that reason) in a corner. Little toddlers don't understand what they are doing. You have to explain them that they shouldn't be doing this.
