Just found this cable stitch tutorial. Really like it especially your suggestion of red and white for a candy cane look. Have lots of red and white yarn I needed to find a pattern for and this looks like a winner for me. Thank you for posting this! LynnZ

I have just found you because I am more of a knitter than a crochet person. I have knitted and crocheted all my life but I love your simple instructions and am making your lollipop blanket right now. I am loving how it is turning out. Just having to think harder when following an American pattern as I'm English taught. Thank you

Thank you! Very pretty texture. I tried using my 5.5mm and I think it was making it easy to miss some of the slip stitches. So definitely would follow your advice next time and use a 6mm with a 4wt yarn. Also, it helps especially with this stitch to keep stitch markers on my first and last stitches, again my slip stitches can get pretty small!

Hello Pepper1188 I got your email but it is not letting me reply back so I hope you see this. The samples I am showing in the video are made using Red Heart Super Saver, since you are a novice crocheter I suggest you use a simple worsted weight yarn like super saver until you get the hang of it. Once you are confident in your skill then you can try a more textured yarn. I hope that helps.

This is the perfect stitch pattern ! Your way of teaching is easy to follow.... Do you have a tutorial for a cable baby sweater? I would like to make a sweater to go with this blanket😊. Thank you once again... Much Love, Peace and Blessings to you and your family ❤

Love this pattern. A ? For you. I purchases a set of bamboo hooks but am really disappointed. The hook part of several are rough and pics the yarn. Is this just a bad lot ? Really like the bamboo knitting needles so thought I would give them a try. Thanks. Thinking about your mom. Doing better I hope.
