Grandma, I want to thank you because after 40 years without crocheting, you gave me the taste to begin again to crocheting cuz you are first a good teacher, slowly teaching so less stress for me! And you don't only teach or show granny square but others patterns! Thanks a lot!

I have been a crocheter for years but just got hooked (pun intended!!) on Tunisian crocheting. Your videos are fantastic! Thank you so much for your detailed explanations and thorough videos. I am beginning to get much more comfortable with Tunisian crocheting.

I've watched several of your videos and if I would have had a teacher as wonderful as you 60 years ago when I learned to knit and crochet, I would have enjoyed it a lot more. She was horrid but out of spite, I learned and have continued in my love of these two arts. Even after all these years of doing them, you are still teaching this old dog new tricks!!!!!!!!!

You are a great teacher. This one was a little tougher for me. But once I concentrated on what you were doing, by about the fourth time, I got it. LOL. It was that wrap around twice, I kept coming up with an extra stitch! Tunisian I think is not my thing. I prefer one stitch at a time. hehe.

You are the best teacher and your voice is very calming. I have listened to other people and they do alot of non informing talking while the teaching and it makes it difficult to learn and follow. You are most awesome. Thank you you are a beginners dream teacher.

Glenda, I have been looking at several people's tunisian smock stitch and you are the only one who does a "two under the hook yarn overs" and actually tunisian purl the two simple stitches together with the second yarn over. This looks just like smocking in sewing! I LOVE it! SO PRETTY!! Thank you so much for sharing.

Also you are a very good teacher very detailed, I also like that you let us do the row and them come back at the last stitch, it's less confusing then those who make you watch the entire project. Thank you for that, I always check your channel if I'm looking for a tutorial on something.

I have never made a mistake yet, and I have done many of your beautiful projects. You are the best and I am looking forward to many more. @@mariannemillot4422 I think about a hundred. I think it's better to knit it than to crochet it, down to have to keep all the stitches on the crochet hook. You'll need a very long one!!!

You are an awesome teacher I'm so grateful that you are kind enough and care enough to share your knowledge with us. I'm a grandma and I am disabled.
I'm learning how to do crafting for mental health reasons I really glad I found someone like you to teach me.
You are patient and clear with your instructions thank you.
I learnt from RUclips and now I can knit and crochet.
My dream is to be able to knit a v neck raglan sleeve cable or simple lace sweater pattern for my profoundly disabled son who is very sensory and likes texture.
The only problem I'm having is how to work out the pattern so that it continues in place and doesn't go wrong once I've decreased or increased on a row. I can't seem to work out which stitch to do next so that I can maintain the pattern. Would you be able to show me that one thing even if it's just a tutorial about that one thing on a sample I would really appreciate it and will be forever thankful.
    Kim from Croydon in London

Well, I got really excited when I saw this as I was given a blue plastic Tunisian crochet hook, provided with a woman's magazine about 50 years ago!! So I pulled it out with a flourish and it snapped. I think it had rotted over time. So, I have ordered a hook (they don't seem to have them in the shops over here. I'll let you know how I go. Your tutoring and timing are ideal for a learner so I was encouraged to have a go. Thank you.

Love it thought these things only happened to me. Can I suggest you look on Amazon. I bought a full set of hooks in a canvas roll for under £4 sterling and these were not the cheapest on offer either in fact I replaced knitting needles single point 18 sizes, double points same amount both also in canvas roll, crochet hooks in leatherette case all sizes and Tunisian hooks as mentioned total price for all 4 sets in beautiful bamboo under £10. Worth looking at they are lovely and smooth to use and good quality
