Pretty standard response….. if I killed Adam Ant, I’d get naked and go to bed too. This looks super intriguing for sure. Pierce hasn’t aged at all. Visually looks good in regards to camera movement and set up. I’ll add this to list
I remember seeing pictures of Pierce before the internet was thing, presumably in a newspaper or magazine. He was very young, very skinny with an afro and a nose ring, busking with a violin on a train.
OMG guys so happy that you reviewed this cult classic! I saw this at a mall in Burton Michigan called Eastland with my Dad and it was good movie I love Pierce Bronson alot & a shout to Adam Ant ! ❤️Anyways I think I still have on VCR tape where I recorded from cable! Lol! So anybody out who hasn't seen it & can find it watch it!
@@FrightfullyForgotten Well I taped off maybe Cinemax or Showtime or something don't remember now & those channels don't have ads except for movies coming up! Lol
I never even heard of this movie, seems super intriguing. Trying to resist looking on wikipedia to find out the ending. Speaking of accents, I rewind it back to get a second listen to Justin's pronunciation of "garage". As an American that was a new one for me, not as big as a difference with how the Brits say "garage".
It's a fascinating film. I don't understand it when people say they don't like it. Earthbound, Nomadic spirits who bring madness to any humans who become too interested in them. In the book the author goes into more detail. She explains only certain people were able to see them; prostitutes, homeless people, drug addicts, people who lived on the outskirts of society. Usually professional people did not see even a glimpse of them. So for him to see them and be attracted to them thrilled the tribe led by Adam Ant. They wanted him. They are as bored with their lives as he is with his and they sense this about him.
This is one of those posters I saw around a lot, back in the day, but it never intrigued me enough to watch. What a shame, cos as you describe it the story sounds fantastic.
Great film. As far as a category goes I think 'paranormal thriller' fits the bill.
Watched this for the first time a few months ago not knowing anything about it. What a surprise. Super good. That accent though. Wow.
haha the accent, the beard, the poorly rolled cigarettes haha, a little over the top
Great movie. Watched it multiple times. Loving this Friday tradition of having a pint and watching one of your videos.
Ah sounds like a great tradition to us! Cheers!
This certainly is an unique premise. I love bad accents and bonkers "evil cult" films, so I will definitely check it out!
Sounds like it's right up your alley! Let us know what you think after you check it out
@@FrightfullyForgotten Will do:)

Getting naked and going to bed is a pretty damn good response to just about anything haha.
Any gang of Punks plot line is just always going to work for me.
80's movies with a cast of Punks are always great!

We love watching those old vhs tapes, all the commercials from the old tv channels are so nostalgic.

those "coming" soon ads are just as nostalgic as the old commercials

haha it's like the way some Americans (Tim Allen from Home Improvement being an example) say "Roof" haha.
It had some flaws, but it is a good original film. We need more horror movies that explore folklore.

Pierce Brosnan is excellent as Jean Charles Pommier in his first film. 😀👍
It was a good departure from Remington Steele for sure. Really got to spread his wings in this role
@@FrightfullyForgotten his that is right. 😀👍
I hope you dont take offence as i mean it as a compliment but you guys are like the horror version of great white north i love it
No offence taken, we're proud that being Canadian has accidentally become our gimmick haha.

I recently got an original vhs release. It is fantastic but requires attention or two watches.
I have the movie movie poster framed in my record room
Awesome 👍 that would be a killer poster to have
Good review guys but you didn’t even mention B movie queen Mary Woronov or the fact you can see Pierce Brosnans dong smh
haha yes, we totally forgot to mention that if you pay attention you can see the Brosnan wang peak out though the shadows.
