Great film. As far as a category goes I think 'paranormal thriller' fits the bill.

Watched this for the first time a few months ago not knowing anything about it. What a surprise. Super good. That accent though. Wow.

haha the accent, the beard, the poorly rolled cigarettes haha, a little over the top

Great movie. Watched it multiple times. Loving this Friday tradition of having a pint and watching one of your videos.

This certainly is an unique premise. I love bad accents and bonkers "evil cult" films, so I will definitely check it out!

Pretty standard response….. if I killed Adam Ant, I’d get naked and go to bed too. This looks super intriguing for sure. Pierce hasn’t aged at all. Visually looks good in regards to camera movement and set up. I’ll add this to list

I remember seeing pictures of Pierce before the internet was thing,
      presumably in a newspaper
      or magazine.
He was very young, very skinny
with an afro and a nose ring,
      busking with a violin
      on a train.

Getting naked and going to bed is a pretty damn good response to just about anything haha.

We love watching those old vhs tapes, all the commercials from the old tv channels are so nostalgic.

I never even heard of this movie, seems super intriguing. Trying to resist looking on wikipedia to find out the ending. Speaking of accents, I rewind it back to get a second listen to Justin's pronunciation of "garage". As an American that was a new one for me, not as big as a difference with how the Brits say "garage".

    • @FrightfullyForgotten
      @FrightfullyForgotten  Год назад

haha it's like the way some Americans (Tim Allen from Home Improvement being an example) say "Roof" haha.

It had some flaws, but it is a good original film. We need more horror movies that explore folklore.

It's a fascinating film. I don't understand it when people say they don't like it. Earthbound, Nomadic spirits who bring madness to any humans who become too interested in them. In the book the author goes into more detail. She explains only certain people were able to see them; prostitutes, homeless people, drug addicts, people who lived on the outskirts of society. Usually professional people did not see even a glimpse of them. So for him to see them and be attracted to them thrilled the tribe led by Adam Ant. They wanted him. They are as bored with their lives as he is with his and they sense this about him.
