    I made some for a friend's exwife. She was so excited to get them. When she visited the doctor she showed the "new" look to him. Was so glad to have a cover for bag
    You never realize how much difference the little things can make.❤

    Thank you for this tutorial and pattern. You explained it so well and the finished product was perfect. I sewed these for a family member and he told me how grateful he was and how encouraged these covers made him feel. Your video and pattern make a difference in people's lives! Thank you so very much!

    When i fix the lower half moon sections, I sew them together at the straight edge and then fold and topstitch the two pieces together.

    Thank you year 3 of abdominal fistulas and wearing an ostomy bag. (Insurance won't cover the cost of fistula bags🙄)
    So I appreciate this. All the info for covers for sale or patterns are for Hollister only. I wear color last. They offered the biggest size. The clip-on bags always popped off on me. I can relate to your son's issues with the bag.

    Hi, Beatrice! I wanted to thank you for this video. I have a rare genetic blood disorder called HHT. About six weeks ago, I had my ninth abdominal surgery. I was pretty much thrown into the ostomy world, without any guidance. Thanks to your help with learning how to make ostomy covers, I am now more confident with myself and glad I won't disgusted others when I go out anywhere. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for providing a pattern and a video for myself and others!

    • @BeatriceLilli
      @BeatriceLilli  7 лет назад +1

      Jennifer, I'm so happy to hear that! I felt the same way when my son had his surgery. We had tons of support for the cancer treatment he was going through, but the support for the ostomy was pathetic. I'm glad the covers help you see yourself in a more positive light. Stay strong.

    • @BeatriceLilli
      @BeatriceLilli  2 года назад

      My 9 year old wore an adult bag. The pattern I shared is what he used. The size of the little hole is the most important part- to make sure it stays on. Maybe make two- one with each hole size. Then make more once you know if it works.

      Thank you so much and One more question the pattern listed on your site is that 13/4 for the whole flange or for the opening? Mine is 1 inch for the opening and for the whole flange its 13/4
      1-3/4"
      (44 mm) Pre-sized, 1"
      (25 mm)

    • @BeatriceLilli
      @BeatriceLilli  8 лет назад

      +Jewels Waters The measurement is NOT the stoma opening, but the plastic snap-on part. I'm thinking the 1 3/4 is your size.
