Glad that your Digitakt video is finally here!
Great stuff as always man!
Great video as always! Helped me to understand a bit more what I can do with my digitakt. I would love a tutorial on how you can make basslines with the digitakt. Thanks for the quality videos you make bro! ;)
valuable informations! really enjoyed this video, thanks for the review
Hey, great video as always. I just wanted to point out that when you use overbridge, if you separate all 8 channels out to individual audio tracks in your DAW, then mute channels 1 to 8 to main on the digitakt, only channels 9 and 10 are playing through the main - being the midi track you have overbridge on.. So essentially that midi track becomes your stereo fx return track from the digitakt (delay + reverb) that can be treated and mixed into your overall mix still. Im really falling in love with this entire system.
perfect vid, was literally looking for something like this. Sold me on digitakt for sure
Fantastic! Ahah glad it helped to make the decision 😉
sounds great!
hey, i got one and i developed a few technics:
1. You can put some random triggers in the sequencer, make the decay pretty short and put an lfo on the sample slot with a randomised wave, this gives u some nice percy sound that bop around :)
2. you can get random chops from a break or anything else by selcting the slice machine and pressing yes on source page, then select create rndom locks :)
3. random decay/attack lfo :)
4. record little select all automations,, this gives some character
if u have some more little tricks for our glitchy sound on the digitakt, feel free 2 write it down :)
Hellooo! Thanks for sharing this!! Unfortunately I don’t own a DiGI anymore :( but i’m sure many people will find your tips gold!!
Amazing!
Bro , i already helped me and i hope this time you do tooo ..
PLease , could you make a tutorial about how to make the kind of loops that you showed at 13:50 ? it's very hypnotic and keep evolving theough the time ....
thank you ....
keep it up
We got a new filter/eq!
Would love to see some more Digitakt tutorials from you, particularly on how you make micro house tracks on there. It's what I'm trying to do as well but although there are many tutorials out there, there aren't many on this particular genre and on the Digitakt. I'd be interested in a more detailed video of how you're modulating samples, using LFOs, the sequencer, p locks, trigs conditions, etc.
same here
Also interested in groove and swing on Digitakt. I guess you're mainly using microtiming? Would be helpful to see how you're doing that. Plus tips on using the single cycle waverforms creatively would be great. Just some ideas, keep up the good work mate; great videos!
Microtiming is an option, but theres regular swing global/per track freely assignable. Unquantized recordings can be quantized by percent too (eg 71%)
nice toy for home jam
would you guys go for an mpc2500 or digitakt as a sampler and main midi?
Never tried the MPC honestly
hi mate! i have a question.. whats about the audio banks included in the digitakt? are them enoght to create something, or this is practically a sampler and you need to get all the sound from another source..?
You can do a lot with the sounds in the digitakt especially for what regards oscillators waveforms..but of course you can add samples or use the input to record external sounds and expand your horizon and creativity 😉
distilled noise nice!, and did you used the digitakt sounds for this projects you show for example? .. just to understand better if it works for me on minimal and micro. thanks!
@@FelipeOlivaG yes! Most of the sounds are from digitakt's stock sample library
Great! Looks like a good option then. Thanks!
Hi..Please tell me, can I create a full track on it? .. the style is deep and minimal?
You can create everything on it of every style!
Francesco , would you recommend getting this or something like the model cycles? I dont have any external synths to use the midi tracks. Thanks my guy
I never tried it..but i'm not particularly enthusiastic about it..
@@distillednoise so you think digitakt for a first piece of hardware is a good choice?
@@hippez it's a tough question to answer cause it depends on you. I personally enjoyed digitakt but i then sold it cause i wasn't able to integrate it i my workflow. Other people love it and use it a lot. Overall I think it's a good start. Be aware it's a sampler. So u need to import samples, make sure they sound good before importing them etc. nothing you can't do on Ableton Live I mean. It's only more fun than using Ableton but sometimes more pain too.
@@distillednoise Thank you Francesco. I think im going to weigh out my options. Love your videos man :) love from Florida
15:25 🔥🔥🔥 I just dont buy it now, because due to my financial course which takes a lot of time, but in February on 2022 🎧🎧🎧
For micro only one true king. Mfb tanzbar 1 and 2. My humble opinion.
I may disagree about not having eq is a con. It actually forces me instead of shaping sample and fitting it to a track creatively select samples. It’s different to what we all used to in a world of daws and triggers different creative strings. 🙃
Maybe you can "workaround" a little using the filter
Exactly, the better I get at synthesis, arrangement and sampling the less I use eq.
BRUH, YOU CAN MAKE MICRO HOUSE WITH ALMOST ANYTHING. LMAO......

Good, where are your releases?
