    I love your content. And it's very informative. But I would like to see a visual process, and slower pace video because it is hard to grasp how to go through the process without seeing it visually. And because you are so informed and articulate on the topic you can naturally overload your audience because they don't have time to process and fully understand it. I'm a visual learner. However, I don't want to take away the strength of this video, because you are being transparent. It just hard for me to process all the info which is amazing, it is just difficult for me to process such great content without a step by step visual. So maybe this is another content idea for your viewers on this specific topic. I am saying all this because I want use your method of a pre-launch.

    I still don’t understand the hero content piece. Can you give me an example of the hero piece so I can figure out how to apply it to my niche ?

      Bree! The hero piece of content is the meat-and-potatoes blog post (or RUclips video). The hero piece of content is what the email newsletter drives to... it’s what I’m talking about if I do a Facebook or Instagram live. It’s what has a freebie download is for (if creating one helps). It’s what at least 2 Instagram posts and Facebook posts will “sell.” It’s what’s been keyword researched and optimized for SEO, Pinterest, etc. If it’s a really big promotional period, then the hero content that week could be a challenge or webinar series.       Great question, friend! Your hero content is the-meat and potatoes-big piece of weekly content. It's in the content CORE spot-promoted with a blog, video, podcast, newsletter, social media, & maybe even ads. I hope this helps!

    Hi! I loved the video, I am learning so much from them! I am starting my business soon, and I found it a little hard to translate some of the strategies you mentioned into executing them for a product based business. However, for a person who's completely new to this, it did make a lot of sense and was indeed extremely helpful! I did try to download the free checklist but none of the links seem to be working..? Its redirecting me to an error page. Could you pls look into that? Thank you!

    So good! Question: For the small open cart window (5-10 days), how does that work with a physical product that I'm launching to join the rest of my products that are available year round? Or what about having the cart open all while sharing the PLC but not really announcing CART OPEN until the end just for those who come on to the site and are ready to buy? Really hope you can help me out with this!

      Yensoun! Great question. Don't worry about a "close cart" on the product! Your launch is going to be more focused on announcing the new product and pushing them to buy it. I'd offer an early-bird discount code, a bonus, a special ... something for the 5ish days you want to get loud about the new product joining your lineup. Then, just remove the "extra" or bonus (but obviously keep the product for sale). Let me know if this helps! :)

    What is the 60 and 60 exercise when finding content?

      Alfredo! My favorite exercise when I’m crafting my pre-launch strategy, is a 60-in-60 content ideas brainstorm session. Using things like magazine mining, newsjacking, podcast & pinterest mad-libbing, and of course, listening to what your audience is ACTUALLY asking for in surveys.
      Any time you’re coming up with these content ideas or going through perhaps that 60-in-60 minutes exercise- make sure to keep these TWO things front of mind:
      ~Is this content going to be interesting to my people?
      ~ Does it show your value?

      Lindsay! So typically the urgency on an evergreen funnel comes from something around price. Something like a sale reduction or : "lock in your lifetime access at x price point". I would encourage you to think through ways that your offer can change to create urgency and scarcity-things like deadline funnels to offer a sale or promotion on your evergreen offer.

      Great question, Desriee! Book launches are kinda a different animal ... some of those require up to a year of pre-launch. Overall, I would say yes-5-10 days of your BIGGEST noise-making on your owned channels before you pipe down & allow the book to be an evergreen offer sounds like what most books do.     What is a hero piece

      I call that your weekly main piece of content-the piece that's driving the sale or the pre-sale/pre-launch that week ... making a proverbial domino fall so to speak. Hopefully this saves you some video watching to find :) but I usually recommend backing up 6-8 weeks prior to a launch and publishing one a week, while disseminating it on other platforms. Does that help?
