    Yes! I need this. I've been learning airs for 2 months and just had the same crash, thanks. I'd love to see a video about air control, and maybe something about motowhips and how to move in the air

    Getting over the initial fear is the hardest part

    • @stuartgibson
      @stuartgibson  3 года назад +2

      Absolutely, that's why you work your way up to going above coping in small steps!

      @@stuartgibson airing both the 5 ft quarters at my local the flow has gotten a lot better. Still struggling with the back tire hitting coping consistently but when I surprise myself with enough speed it is a mighty launch way bigger difference 🤣🤣

    I know truck driver, 360 over boxes but I can't air without doing bhop bcs I don't have any ramp in my town to practise it😂. Hope this will help 🙏

    I've just been practicing my hops on little corners of dirt and sidewalk going more and more into to corner so I can get used to the feel of being in the air. Should I just start to get the feel of hopping and having to bike come straight up with me when I jump not even popping my front tire that much? Or should I get out of the habit

    Im starting to ride again any tips for the verts or quarters that curve inboard at the top?

    • @richieanderson1968
      @richieanderson1968 2 года назад

      Yeah don't pull or you will land flat bottom..follow the transition.

  • @arrex700
    @arrex700 2 года назад +2

    So no bunny hop when you actually hit coping with both wheels?

    • @stuartgibson
      @stuartgibson  2 года назад +1

      You definitely can! However, the steeper the quarter the less you want to be forcing a bunny hop

    • @richieanderson1968
      @richieanderson1968 2 года назад +1

      If there's a foot of transitioning to straight up you don't want to be pulling up on bike or bunnyhop. Allow the bike to take you straight out then look over your shoulder and spot your landing. It's a mind game..pad yourself up and remember what goes up must come down. Just make sure it's front tire first lol. Good luck
