His record isn’t reflective of his skill. Judges didn’t like his style or showboating so he lost a lot of fights by scoring that he won easily in reality..

This Brother Craft was Second ONLY to Floyd The $Money Man Mayweather. Augustus Won all His Battles other than the 3 stoppages All the other Losses were Wins!

During a fight Emmanuel’s opponent hurt his neck or brain stem. In the video its the man with the red trunks. The doc cleared the fighter. Emmanuel wouldn’t throw a head shot. He knew the opponent was badly injured. With every punch his opponent threw he would yell with pain. The fight was stopped. The opponent never boxed again. Emmanuel probably saved his life.

You can't train the type of footwork Augustus did in the ring. They called him the Drunken Master, but his style is closer to Jeet Kun Do, the formless martial art Bruce Lee created. On top of that, he's fundamentally an outboxer but used swarmer distance and techniques.

  • @jeefsquaa

The dude looks like he’s having a blast! And it looks like it genuinely be fun as hell to fight him (with you being well trained mind you).
I’m not one for standardized fighting leagues where the martial arts have been boiled down to their most efficient, safe, and BORING. Augustus is the kinda fighter I love hearing about and seeing! The kind that shake things up with their own unique styles that bring a new era to a sport that feels like it’s flatlining or a new and enjoyable reason to keep watching.

A black man has natural rhythm. When he fought to his beat he was unstoppable. But, the boxing industry didn't like it because they didn't get it. As he conformed to more traditional boxing, he was less effective. Mayweather is on record saying that Emmanuel was his toughest fight.

His record doesn’t reflect him as a fighter. He is probably the most robbed fighter ever in boxing. It’s like mid 30s wins to mid 20s losses. He pretty much had to knock out his opponent or the judges would either consider the fight a draw for him losing. He was the only boxer to lose a point by spinning around and showing his back. Mind you he landed a powerful overhead right after the spin.
