Yeah according to metabolismo tv (a puerto rican Youtbe channel) sad that Frank suarez is not longer in this life :( he helped many people with their health. And one of hes biggest discoverys was the glucometer how to identify the food that attack our metabolism/organism, and he used to say no matter if you are non diabetic, with a glucometer you can test food individual just to see what attacks your oganism even by eating vegetables alone, or meat protein, even the coffe ,etc, etc. Very useful. Sorry for my poor english.
Great video. I obsessively test meter accuracy. Of the 3, I've personally found the CVS to be most accurate. The Premier tends to run a little high. Premier is great when looking for trends. But be careful if using it to dose insulin!
I appreciate your time and videos so much. As a person who recently got diagnosed with a need for one of these, after being in hospital for 6 days for bile duct surgery, i appreciate this video lots. HUGS and GOD bless you all 🤗.
Thank you, I don't have diabetes...yet...but i had covid, so monitoring my blood sugar would be prudent...I just had no idea where to start. This helped!!
I have watched videos that compare several meters with the same blood draw. The readings varied widely. There is an explanation for that (too complicated for here) and all the meters tested complied with the ISO standards within the normal, low and high ranges. I know, it is not a very satisfactory reason and it is annoying that one meter can put you at a normal blood glucose while another at a pre-diabetic one. So which one is correct? 🤷🏼♀️
The one I've had the most experience with is the Relion Premiere Classic, I've found the readings to consistent and rarely have a test strips that does not work.
hello, could you recomend a monitor that can read glucose that is over 400-500. All the regular monitors that I have purchased on the average read error. Tired of pricking my fingers 5 times each sitting just to get an error message even the dr had to get the huge monitor to get my readings when i go for a check up. it's frustrating☹️
i got the relion blutooth one and it read 50 points higher than the bayer.. ive used the bayer type for years just wanted something different. idk which one is accurate
thank you for telling everyone to find out what foods are causing high glucose readings , so they can adjust their diet . very important !

saludos! soy de Puerto Rico tambien! cual glucometro recomiendas? el mio me da lecturas falsas😡
You did great. Thanks for your input!
Yes I'd imagine if your intolerant to some foods tge readings maybe high?

What a Nightmare, man! 😂

Hope you're doing better. How did your surgery go?
May God Jesus heal you fast.

Oh.. this was 3 years ago…my reading has never been as low as 79.. I’m lucky if it ever gets under 100
Great video! I love that all 3 model's are OTC. I noticed this video is a few years old. Is this information still current?
Readings from 79 - 107. Completely fine to pre-diabetic.
Thank you! I am trying to track my pre-diabetic levels and this helps me a lot. I can learn how to do it at an affordable price.
Thanks! Very ilustrative and useful information before buying any of these devices.
Did you test all 3 at the same time when making this video ?

Music drowning out the voice but still good video
Thx for the video. Just want to give feedback that the background music is really distracting and too loud compared to your voice.
Thx a lot for this video, pretty helpful. Trying to find the least expensive test strips.
Glad you found it helpful.
Well presented. What is the MARD for the meters?
Just a thought, if you have to have the music in the video, back it way down and pull down the bass. It's making the words hard to understand.
How accurate are they, please? Reading reviews... and how many test strips don't work out of the box?
The one I've had the most experience with is the Relion Premiere Classic, I've found the readings to consistent and rarely have a test strips that does not work.
Thank this video and your opinions were so helpful to me.
I am confused. @3:03 the Walgreens meter read 79; @ 6:00 the CVS read 95; @ 12:03 you're reading 107 with the ReliOn meter. Diff recording times?
I did record each section at different times.
@@PharmacistTips Thanks. Would be useful to record all meters at the same time, to compare accuracy.
When I bought my meter my first criteria was cost of test strips, I now have a Relion Prime
Thanks for sharing! Well appreciatie!👏☺

Maybe GLUCOCARD MEMORY
search information about it😊
They all gave different B.S. levels. Which one would you say is the most accurate?
How accurate is the #2 meter?
Did you forget the lancet price for the CVS?
That’s three different readings or is that just me I’m new to this. Pre diabetic / diabetic
Thank you so much!
testing meters against lab results....good idea
i got the relion blutooth one and it read 50 points higher than the bayer.. ive used the bayer type for years just wanted something different. idk which one is accurate
I know this is 2 years old but relion sucks . If it hits 170 it breaks. I threw mine out. Google reviews see for yourself.
Embrace is a good one.
Why so much difference in reading ? Which one is most accurate is the big question 🤔
I made each meter video clip at different times, I will work on a video comparing each meter's accuracy.
Geez. Early this year 2024 I bought that Walmart glucose monitor and paid over $70.00
How do I work my meter, I'm having trouble.
Thank you 😊
How much strips?
Music is so loud hard to listen
Those test strips are such a RIP OFF! I can see why people stop giving a fxxk after awhile.
RELION WAS VERY INACCURATE FOR ME
You forgot to show me how you remove the lancet from the holder…..

Relion Premier is horribly inaccurate and sucks so I can't even trust your other choices.
Still the best with cheapest strips in 2023 ?
Relion sucks! Embrace is the cheapest and accurate. Amazon 200 for $22. It just went up 200 for $33 ( 4 - 50 packs)
My ReliOn meters are terribly wrong😮
The 3 of them that i have give totally different results with same blood drop. Totally unreliable
Poor audio
Old ppl stuff 🤧😖😝
That is not nice, did you know the there is juvenile diabetes also in children?
Bet that u have diabetes n u don't know it 😏
