How to get started with the contour next one glucose meter Includes using lancet device, inserting the test strip, setting the time and changing the battery.
I really like the idea of injecting the Lancet needle into the top plastic piece of the needle to dispose of! Good idea, but after watching your demonstration, the only thing that I saw different about your device was keep track of you're reading by the phone app...
I found my old one which I haven't uses for about a year and I have no instructions and when ever I put the test strip in(which is the right one ) I get an E4 or E8 ??? What does this mean
I just saw another video of yours in which you explain how to use the control solution. You tried it with 3 different meters of the same brand and yet, you got 3 very different readings. I'm starting to regret I bought a glucose meter.
@@PharmacistTips Changed the battery, and success! -The meter is back in working order, unfortunately, I found my glucose level to be a little high- 127. Thank you for your assistance and feedback!
Thank you so much! I received my meter and it had NO instructions. This video helped me get the meter set up and ready to use! Thank you again!
Very informative with a great presentation. This is how a video is suppose to be made.

Thank you so much for this video I had just got one and had no idea how to properly use it. This video was very informative :)

Can u use prime test strips with that one as well
Thank You
You're welcome
How do you charge the meter mines didn’t come with an charger
It is not rechargeable, there are two batteries that are replaced as needed.
Why didn't you go over the app??? Nobody seems to review or show how to setup the phone app.
How about error codes? Consisitent error code E-3? My next step will be to test meter with control solution... and if error persists?
E-3 indicates the strip is inserted upside down.
@@PharmacistTips imposible, if’ve been doing this a long time, it’s clear strip is correctly placed.
@@joselatogines It may be time to replace the battery then, I have seen other meters given error codes when the battery is weak.
@@PharmacistTips I've spent so many test strips trying to figure this out- expensive process... We'll see tomorrow.

The date of my previous readings is inaccurate. For example, yesterday's readings are showing 5/8
You way overpaid for the strips. They are under $27 for 70 count.
You need a new scissors.
