Great to see follow up reviews after some actual use! Far too many gear reviews that just show things straight out of the pack but nothing to let you know if they're actually any good in use!
Thanks for the review! I tried the idogear kneepads that goes into those pants and i was not impressed. I have a local "copy" (Shadow Strategic) and they are okay but nothing crazy.. tried the TMC pants and was impressed. As a small dude, what gets me is the attachment velcro on the back of the knee to tighten the kneepad is also too small.. leads to the pad switching left to right and when you go down ... well. the pad isnt there eh? The TMC were the only one with a more than like 1 inch stretch of loop velcro to attach allowing me to properly tighten them. Also tried one of their pouches and was meh.. think it was the 3 m4 stretch ones, copy of blue force gear i believe.
I didn't like the knee pads on the first pair I purchased which were size Large. I found the knee pads to be uncomfortable. However, on the XL pair the knee pads fit perfectly and I left them in. I could see a little more velcro behind the knee being a possible improvement. I know they have a "G4" version out now but I don't know what changes were made.
I am 5' 08", 205 lbs. I wear size 36W. There is quite a bit of adjustment in the waist, behind the knee and at the ankle. I would error on going a size larger.
Late reply, I've had similarly both, idogear and now Crye G4's, i'd say that Crye's are more comfortable in every single way. They'll have a lower IR signature by a mile, material is better etc. Essentially you're paying for the quality.
@@jla3772 No problem dood! I’d say if you have the funds available then yeah go ahead they’re amazing. actually the most comfortable trouser i own atm. However at the end of the day 99% of us on here aren’t DEVGRU or any equivalent so buy what you need 🤣🤣
I think these are the gen 1 model but I am not positive. There are several versions out there. Most of the changes I have observed are in the type of material above the knee pad and just below the belt in the back. Some use a smooth stretchy material and others use an "accordian" looking material. I don't know how else to describe it. FWIW I think the accordion style material is more durable.
The Idogear and Emerson ones appear to come from the same manufacturer. I am not familiar with UR Tactical so I can't give you an opinion on their quality.
Hell yeah, airsoft needs more long-term reviews and not just OOTB reviews

That's the review i was looking for. Thanks
Thank you for explaining in detail.👍
Great review. Thanks for sharing your time!!
Thank you sir.
I got their upgraded version, I'd say it does well.
Do knee pads on their place? Mine are above knee when I stand on the knee.

You can add Krydex to the list of companies coming from the same factory
Great video, do you like idogear or emerson more?
I think they probably originate in the same factory.
Hey what size fits best for you and also how tall and how much do you weigh?
I am 5' 08", 205 lbs. I wear size 36W. There is quite a bit of adjustment in the waist, behind the knee and at the ankle. I would error on going a size larger.
@@GunfatherMilsim do you wear a size 36w in normal pants? or are these true to size
@@orangedesert5559 Yep. True to size.
Do you happen to know how these do under IR/NVGs?
I do not
I am 185 cm tall and weigh 82 kg. Which size should I choose? I don't want it to be tight, but I don't want it to be like a sack either.
Dope intro!! Love csgo
Lol. It dates me a bit.
how about the breathability between the G3 and G2? is that new elastic part less breathable?
Not noticeably so. It was a non-issue for me.
Have you ever had Crye Precision G3 combat pants? If so, how do they compare to the Idogear?

Is this the g3 v1? Or g3v2 thanks!

@@GunfatherMilsim hell yea brother thanks for the reply! Just got a pair off Amazon I’ll have to see how they last me thanks!
Did you sew those or staple them? 😄
Yeah my sewing is not the prettiest but it works.
Idogear vs UR Tactical vs Emerson Gear. Which do you think is of better quality?
The Idogear and Emerson ones appear to come from the same manufacturer. I am not familiar with UR Tactical so I can't give you an opinion on their quality.
My pants look to big and my shirts to long I have to roll up the sleeves should I return them 😂
Are they real multicam?
No, but they are close enough for my eye. I understand your concern. Some Chinese knock off "Multicam" is really off.
Are they water proof why does know ever review that
Nope.
Anyone notice he looks almost like jon bernthal lol aka the punisher haha dude do some punisher gear
Yes, I have been told... often... that I resemble Jon Bernthal.
@@GunfatherMilsim hell ya man now you gotta put some punisher gear on bro
So these are for airsoft ? Wtf i guess I wasted my money
