He describes himself as more of a Gilmour type guitarist, ( since its Papa, in the interview, I'd say more of a Gilmourish type of composer...yes, I know Tobias is a guitarist as well as vocalist outside of Ghost...) Definietly Ghost has more in common with PF in sound and melody and spacial sound then with most heavy metal.... Bravo Papa....

does anyone know how do they tune their guitars?

I have the Songsterr app and I couldn't figure out why the songs sounded a bit off when I was playing them until i looked at the beginning of the song and saw that all of the strings are tuned down a whole note so that your top E string gets tuned down to D, A gets tuned down to G and so on

Most of their songs are in D standard. Some songs are capo’d at the second fret, and one song is in Drop C.
