Under Yoruba leadership of Nigeria the Giant of African myth is dead period. Be honest to yourself, you are on your own. You can’t even manage your economy only doing celebration. Shameful fellows. The president of Mozambique, Samora Matchell was killed by South Africa in a plane crash because of his total support for the African National Congress. The guest on your TV channel remarks, "the president is the collective representation of all of us." This sentiment is quite accurate and raises important questions about the respect Nigerians receive abroad. It is rare to see national discussions addressing how Nigerians are treated at airports and in our embassies worldwide. Now that we have seen this clear example, what actions can we take? Could a motion be raised in the house to address the challenges Nigerians face internationally? The difficulties Nigerians encounter abroad deserve urgent attention.

We are aware that our standing within the Committee of Nations has diminished. We believe that no one else is observing how we behave and conduct ourselves in our daily lives back home. Should I hold the office of President of Nigeria, I would simply leave the event and give the order for every Nigerian in attendance to leave. In order to reclaim our position, we will all return home and work on our own systems. Our government takes minimal or no action when Nigerians are mistreated abroad. At this point, our top citizen is being disrespected as well. "What is good for the goose is good for the gander" This ridiculousness has to stop.

Nigeria never learns. Let’s concentrate on building our country and be selective where our leaders and presidents visits, we Nigerians like demeaning our country. We speak well of others and trample our father’s land underneath. We know we have challenges like every other country. Our generation must stop blaming our ancestors and rise to the occasion of building a new Nigeria. Let’s start from our homes, mosques, churches and even you journalists should start a new national campaign of rebranding, educating and setting a new agenda for Nigerians. Don’t wait for politicians, start the campaign. Play the new national anthem before you start any program, put the national flag in your studios. Dedicate at least 10 minutes educating Nigerians how great we are. Media houses and journalists should drive this narrative. Journalists, you guys are powerful. Send circulars to other journalists, have a conference and pick up this task. If you stay dedicated to this agenda within a year you will start seeing results. Let’s stop waiting for political leaders and educate our people in the streets and everywhere. I beg!!!

Nigeria is been sidelined because of South Africa positioning itself as the leader of Africa for competitive advantage.
Nigeria has to recalibrate and resonsider its foriegn afairs focus. One thing I learned from United States and Regan in particular is that you must project strength and Power. When you have to employ power, it must be done with an overwhelming force. It gives a message to potential adversaries to trade with caution and care in the affairs that affects Nigeria. Yes we are Brothers and all, the Definition of that brotherhood must be defined by Nigeria. Thank you.

Mr. Akande did Nigeria have the South African president in the front row during Tinubu's inauguration ceremony in 2023? During Tinubu's inauguration all the invited president were all seated in the third role. Do you really think that a ceremony that was South African base you give priority to foreigners before their own home based dignitaries? It sounds childish and immature for Nigerians to even complain about where the president should be seated. This was not a contest and if Mr. Akande was a former presidential aid he should know better. South Africans will ridicule Nigerian for this childish complain. Most Nigerian do not respect the president in his home country but will worry about what happens to the president when he outside the country That is hypocrisy at his highest level.
