    1. Compression socks when you fly! And 2. There is an accessibility warning on each ride in the app that says if it’s recommended for pregnant people or not.

    Make sure to wear sunscreen or wear hat for sun protection as pregnancy can make your skin more sensitive to sun. Pregnant women are prone to melasma on their face and chest. Also stretching after the day so you can allow your hip flexors to relax when they’re tight and stretching supposed to help with muscle cramps.

    At first I thought it was strange Tomorrowland speedway was on the not to ride list….but it makes since in case you have someone behind you that decides to slam into the back of you.

    I use bandalettes for chafing (even for normal life). They can help immensely if you don't want to use the sprays.

    Alyssa, you mentionedDisneyland Paris and I actually want to give some tips if traveling to DLP while pregnant as there are a lot of differences between the European park and the US parks. I have never been to a US park while pregnant but I did go to DLP in 2017 twice while pregnant with my youngest. There is a temporary disability pass you can request to skip lines. So, in Europe it is absolutely allowed to ask for proof of disability if you are requesting a pass unlike in the US. DLP recently made some changes to the process of requesting a priority pass but the concept is still the same as in 2017. There is a permanent pass which is the priority pass and you can look up how to request that and what documents you need, and there is a temporary pass. This pass is for people fitting into certain scenarios, included pregnant. You need to have a note from your doctor in French or English stating you are pregnant and it needs to have your personal information (doctor letterhead paper for the hospital or clinic they work for, the doctors name, their collegiate/doctor license number, etc). You present that at city hall in the park and they issue you a pass for your trip dates and you can add up to 4 members of your traveling party. Your can then go to rides or character meets and they assign you a return time, usually similar to the posted wait time. You are still waiting but you do not need to be standing in line.
    Also, for back pain, I recommend taking a heating pad. I use Thermacare or hot hands and would put it under my maternity pants belly band. It helps with the sore lower back from caring the baby bump. It’s also great on long flights.
    Rubbing alcohol infused with rosemary ( they sell it in Spain already prepared but you can also make it at home) is great to massage on sore legs and feet to relax the muscles. If you are driving or can spare the room in your luggage, a massage pillow is also great for back, leg and feet pain.
    I’ve used all of these at DLP when pregnant (and not pregnant) and they really help

    I am not planning on going to Disney pregnant as I’m 50 😂…been there, done that. But I still enjoyed your video. Being a Disney fan and parent, I agreed with everything you said. So excited for you and Garrett. (Still think you need to move to Maine 😂)

    To prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis, I wore compression stockings when flying. They are also good on a long car ride.

    I'm not pregnant myself and due to previously went through cancer treatments in the past this has stopped my body to get pregnant. I wish I could get pregnant 🤰 😕 😩 😫 but again. I'm thankful for having two boys but. Now the first thing about riding on big rides yes its not recommended. I on the other hand and I did not intentionally do this just for fun but I actually rode on a big roller-coaster by myself and I was in the very front. My husband doesn't like roller-coasters so yeah I rode it twice. I kid you not we went for my birthday in June well 2 months later I went to see a doctor to see why I was getting pregnant then 2 weeks later I get the news I was pregnant once I had my first appointment we found out I was 6 months in half. I didn't have the belly had shown no symptoms whatsoever litterly I did not know I was pregnant and yet I got on that roller-coaster. Never felt nauseous and to begin with for years I wasn't getting my monthly cycles so why think I'm pregnant when I wasn't getting one to start off. Of course I didn't worry if I got it or if I was late no. But man no prenatal care whatsoever. After finding out 2 months later I had my first born he was premature 4lb, 4ounces but very strong and healthy.

      It could be used before the discomfort, but before and during wouldn’t hurt.

    U know how I survived? My husband pushed me around in a wheelchair ha ha lol, but no seriously he did but bc I was pregnant with our 4th kid and it was the worst pregnancy and I had to be on bed rest at 7 months so I couldn't walk at all

    Are you having much feet swelling? I did when I was pregnant both times.. went up 2 shoe sizes.

    • @TheLeffersons
      @TheLeffersons  2 года назад +1

      I had some swelling when I was in Hawaii and at Disney but I haven’t had it since (at least yet!) my feet and legs do hurt very bad by the end of the day teaching, but again no swelling yet! I wear Birkenstocks for that purpose so that I can take the straps in or out if needed!

    You might want to consider carrying a lighter backpack. Your back will thank you. Listen to your body. Better yet, have hubby carry the backpack.
