Most of my MGM/CBS tapes (most of which have the 1st MGM/CBS and CBS Video logos) have the same previews at the end; however, a couple of my tapes ("An American in Paris" and "The Nutcracker") omit the trailer for "The Wizard of Oz"; one tape ("Electric Light Orchestra Live at Wembley") only has the TV spot for "Fame", and the one tape I have with the later logos ("The Goodbye Girl") that does end with previews has modified versions of the "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "The Wizard of Oz" spots.
It's just that from all of my scouring about for rare VHS videocassettes for quite some time, I haven't come across any with those extremely rare logos... yet.
The first and second one can be found on "Tom & Jerry Cartoon Festival - Vol. 1" VHS from MGM/CBS, one of the first T&J VHS tapes ever to come out, and it is tough to find if you are a true Tom & Jerry fan. It was also in a CED videodisc format.
Since Tom and Jerry are now currently owned and distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment under Turner Entertainment, who owns the pre-May 1986 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios library.
Here's another history lesson. After MGM/CBS became MGM/UA Home Video, CBS Video became CBS/Fox Video in 1983, and then by 1991, CBS/Fox Video became Fox Video, and then revived as CBS Video in early 1990's when it was distributed by Fox Video and then 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and then later distributed by Paramount. I go a little confused about CBS Video's history. The first MGM/CBS home video release was "The Wizard of Oz", a 1939 classic with Judy Garland which is still a masterpiece, and that was from 1980 when it was distributed by CBS Video.
The CBS/FOX Video name ended in 1998 since some areas that use PAL formats distribute unrecognizable titles with the CBS/Fox Video name on VHS (ex: Australia (Image Organization's Scanners III aka Scanner Force in pre-Brexit era Britain) and in Spain (currently in E.U.), Martial Law 2: Undercover and Weekend at Bernies II).
Closing to That's Entertainment 1980 VHS This link is for a video that belongs to Jordan Rios. The previews depicted are exactly the same. Apologies for the quality, but I don't quite feel like doing the work of transferring the previews from cassette to digital and uploading it right now.

The music on the first few sound like the theme music at the beginning of the nightly newscasts.

I have this on my 1980 VHS of The Wizard Of OZ
These are seen on most of my MGM/CBS tapes (around 60 of them. VHS and Beta.) However, I'm not too sure if my 1982 VHS of Viva Las Vegas has the logo.
TheAwesome VHS/Beta Collector I'm sure it does 😁
1:20 where can I find this logo
Have you any idea if the "old logo" existed on any VHS titles from the late 70's/early 80's?
1. 1979-1987 0:22
2. 1982-1991 1:05
Riley Andersen WRONG!!!!
0:22 - 1979 - 1981
1:05 - 1981 - 1982

ryanasaurus0077 fame 2001 a space oddsey and the wizard of oz
Taken From Tom And Jerry 1980 VHS.
Alexander Piela It would be more accurate to say that this is also found on 1980 issues of "Tom and Jerry" on VHS and Beta from MGM/CBS.
Alexander Piela 1980? Huh?
MGM/CBS Home Video
Taken from Clash of the Titans 1981
Gabriel Rodriguez hmm nope
1979-1987
also from Tom and Jerry Classics vol. 1, 2 and 3 and the secret of nimh 1983 vhs
drseusslover Actually the 1983 VHS of The Secret Of NIMH has the 1982 MGM/UA Home Video logo
Joh Smith Wrong! MGM/CBS ended in 1982 when it became MGM/UA Home Video, and CBS Video ended around 1982 or so until it became CBS/Fox Video.
0:47 You should remove the FBI warning in the middle of the video. We only need to see the logos.
Yet another unfortunate Hollywood marriage
