What a remarkable piece of equipment from nearly 100 years ago! I'll never forget that I was fortunate to have crawled into 4014's firebox when it was on static at Pomona back in the 80's. Never dreamed that it would once again come back to life.
You can easily see the pilot truck coming back in center line with the engine as it got closer to the switch. Also, a little wheel slip at 1:59. Nice video.
