Interesting video dude.. I’ve just bought a group of 5 yesterday, as I’ve re done my tank a year ago and started with a school of manacapuru angels (redbacks), a group of corydoras sterbai and 2 farlowella’s. As the angels came to a proper size now, and showing no problems I missed something along the substrate together with the sterbai’s.. the Cory’s tend to stay at one corner of the tank and I hoped they became more active as there is something else in the lowest waterline. As soon as I’ve added the maronii’s the sterbai became super active and moved along the entire tank. Mission succes I think. They are very tiny still, something like an average persons fingertip, so I can’t wait to see how they grow up and how theire coloring will become.. I hope they won’t get too dark, or too brown so to speak. Planning on ordering more twigs and driftwood and catappa to add to the substrate to copy theire natural habitat. Keep it up
Hi there. Thank you for the wonderful video. My tank is long and shallow and 170cm/5.6 feet long. HEAVILY planted and with endless amount of roots, branches and houseplants/ferns growing out of it with their fine and dense roots. It is really designed for dwarf cichlids in mind. A lot of cherry and amano shrimps in there. Too many to keep track of really. Do you think African Butterfly Cichlids would pick them off and put a dent into the shrimp population? I don't mind them eating some of the shrimp babies because there's a limit to how many shrimps one "needs" but.... Yeah. What do you and your viewers think?

I'm really happy I found this fish. I was looking for a larger friendly community fish for my new 55 gal.

cool nice thks
I keep mine with White Clouds, Neon Red Blue eyes and some corys and they do just fine. They dont bother the other fish at all.
Planing a 180Gal 72×24×24 heavily planted with 8 Keyhole cichlids Bolivia Rams a few plecos Cory's and different larger sizes tetras
Researching. I'm trying to decide what I want to put in my 120g tank.
can I keep then with full grown neon's?
Can they be with amatitlania nanolutea
Do they have to be in groups or can you keep one solo?
Sorry just reading this now! They really should never be solo fish. Also they mate for life. I have 6.
Could I keep Amano Shrimp with them ? Great video by the way .
Group of 4 in 40 breeder?
