@@danielruggio5499 basically just thought it through, I’ve been on so many flights over the years and just sitting there and realizing that in order for the plane to go down it would be some insane circumstance. Like turbulence can’t bring it down because there tested to withstand extreme conditions and also my fear of the engines failing was overcome by realizing that the plane can land with 1 engine or none as its able to glide down with gravity. Main thing is focus on what your first going to do when you land despite it feeling optimistic just keep reassuring yourself and when you do land and do what you were thinking about remind yourself that if I made it through that then it’s all anxiety based
I have to fly next week. I never had flying anxiety before I have flown many times even by myself. But after some life events I feel anxious about everything. I would say NO but I want to go so I can say goodbye to my nan. I will take all these tips. I’m not scared of crashing it’s more the fear of panic. I feel like I may faint sometimes. I might screen record this to watch on the flight Thankyou 🙌🏻
I used to love travelling, never fear anything when I’m flying, always have exciting feel on the plane, not until 6 months ago, when I can feel my anxiety coming up to surface suddenly when the plane door are close and ready to take off, I doing affirmation thought myself to calm my self down and it did works, feel absolutely fine afterwards, but that’s feels makes me trauma, I have to get on the plane again to another trip. because of the scenes that i experienced I feel nervous and anxious worried how if my anxiety coming back again. In my Holliday, i decided to do hypnotherapy for my next flight, and it did work. But now, I think I need to regularly seeing my hypnotherapist before I travelling with flight. Lol 😅 I have to beat my anxiety and keep seeing different world.
I am facing the same situation, i flew many of times , short hauls and long hauls flights. And I am always excited on being a plane, but recently, on returned flight i encountered bad turbulences, and I got really scared. I did flew twice later but it was so horrible I got really really nervous. I wanted to go home and not fly again. What is wrong with me ?
I’m scared that I’m gonna be on the plane and I’m gonna have a panic attack and I’m not gonna control it and I’m gonna start acting weird like I wanna get out of the plane and it makes me so scared to book a ticket
As an avid aviation enthusiast I enjoyed flying until 2014 when MH17 was shot down that shocked me because it was a reminder that no matter what altitude danger is everywhere. Then an opera singer I personally knew died in Germanwings pilot suicide event. Then a pilot who once flew me died in Iran UA flight 752. I don’t personally know a single person who died in a car crash but I know 2 people who perished in aviation incident. Then we have current mainteance personell crisis and quality issues due to manufacturers chase for profit. And now emerging details that MH370 was also a pilot suicide. I am not afraid of the flying itself but I am very afraid of human factor that may lead to a crash. I still do fly once a year and therapy helped me to behave calm once mid air but after my last uneventful 5 hour flight to Portugal i got off the plane and slept for 36 hours because I felt emotionally exhausted and traumatised. Flying is not for everyone.
Thank you so so much I can't explain m very thank full to you you clear my minde I hade panic attack in 3 hours flight because of turbulence you are doing such a great work ....
I'm just worried the plane falla straight down into the ground ND having that non stop uncontrollable feeling of falling until we all hit the ground and die
I was never afraid of flight and actually used to kinda like turbulence in a weird way. Once during bad turbulence the plane fell in the air some feet and everyone screamed. The fall actually worked out because we got out of the tunnel of air causing the turbulence and the rest of the flight was very smooth but I was on high alert the rest of the flight and from every flight from then on. 😭
my actual number1 reason why im scared of flight is if the pilot or pilots are suicidal and me watching hours true crime documentary about it doesnt help either 😂💀
That's an interesting fear to have about flying, and as much as I'm scared to fly, I never thought about that. I feel like if a pilot ever got close to that, steps would be taken to make sure they aren't in control of the plane anymore. Also I think psychological evaluations of some kind make sure pilots are suitable to control planes.
@sickowawawa4014 I have the same fear but they do have more than one pilot. I read one story where a pilot was on drugs and almost crashed it but the other pilot quickly grabbed him pushed him back and got the plane to land safely and that other pilot that almost crashed got fired and arrested. So hearing that does make me feel a little more safe. I'm flying g for the first time in a few weeks. In illinois and I'm going to Las vegas
@jeffreyzepeda7884 I feel like when i get on the plane i will then and only then know how bad it is .... the last time I flew I couldn't sit still , every noise , every bump of the plane 😱
Thanks so much this really helped me, I’m flying tomorrow and have been really anxious this video has helped me realise it’s anxiety taking over again
How did you control it?

Thank you. This is the first video I have watched that accurately captured my fears and addressed them.

@James-gp5cwthank you
I can’t even get on a roller coaster because I can’t stand the weightless feeling let alone the turbulence on a plane.
Thanks man! Tips, don't avoid what you fear, what's the point of fearing if you're not living my guy
I’m having anxiety of packing everything & not being prepared when I’m at the airport.

That short fall is what I’m afraid of too. Don’t like that feeling in any form.
