It may not have been Kody and Robyn's fault that they fell in love, but it was their fault that they treated Christine badly and continue to blame her and lie about her.
Not just Christine, they treated Meri like crap too. Kody told us on one of the tell alls, this season, that Robin knew when she joined the family, that he didn’t love Meri anymore, and was only pretending for the show…Hence why Robin made Kody promise HER, in a sacred covenant when they got married, that if he ever fell out of love with her he wouldn’t pretend to be in love…
Yet, Robin led Meri on, she gave Meri false hope for over a decade…
Robin is just as narcissistic as Kody is, the only difference is that Kody is an overt narc, out in the open, bold about it, while Robin is a covert narc, behind the scenes manipulating in secrecy…

I know it's probably not a popular opinion but if there ever comes a day when someone posts a pic of Meri, Christine, and Janelle..together..having fun...smiling, laughing, even wrestling, that will be my best day!! He's been awful to Christine and Janelle but, what he's put Meri through has been the worst to me. People have judged her and maybe she deserves some of that but, I have no doubt that Kody AND Robyn played a part in making her life miserable and emotionally painful. Her reaction to the abuse dictated her negative responses (JMO) I truly can't imagine what she went through. I kinda feel this way about Robyn's kids, also! She and Kody are setting their own children up for a life of mental health struggles, judgement, and bullying. Kody and Robyn profess to love their children but, look what they're doing to them. They don't stand a chance.
I’m so happy that she is OUT of that marriage. What he said to Ysabelle was so hurtful. He could have even just gone for just the week of the surgery. SMH…What bothers me most is that he takes no responsibility for any of it. Christine didn’t poison the kids against you Kody, they just aren’t dead, blind, and dumb!
Especially since he hosted a whole ass wedding a week or so later!!
I love that this was brought up in this interview. I was surprised to learn that this was the last straw for Mama Bear. I would love to know why Kody couldn’t help pay for surgery and why they needed to fund raise. He certainly has a lot of money to pour into very expensive artwork to hang in their mansion.

It was awesome to hear Christine's reaction to Robyn saying she needs Meri, Janelle & Christine to tell her to her face, that she can go be happy with Kody. "Your majesty, he is all yours. Enjoy your booby prize."
And apparent difficulty into the next realm or something idk. Her faith stipulates that she needs to be a part of three wives or idk lol

Excellent Interview. Christine’s happiness is contagious. Robyn didn’t want the wives to leave because their monetary contributions would end. Robyn has NEVER worked and perpetually unemployed Kody isn’t bringing in any cash. Their revenue was the wives.
The show? Didn't they make money thst way?
Yes they get paid but the pay is minimal . I understand it is $1,000 apiece per show….which doesn’t amount to much. And I believe Kody & Robyn have a mortgage on their $900,000 house.@@joycedominguez8997

The OGs he left behind don’t get to profit from the collective fund he and Robyn spent the last 20 years plundering. And the part that the show ignores is that Kody relied upon tax-payer funded state resources to supplement his families’ incomes prior to the show. This is a complete affront to what social welfare was meant to do and the citizens it was intended to support. Prior to ‘Sister Wives’, the family was financially scrapping by, but they were far from well off. And now, because of Kody and Robyn’s mismanagement of all that money, Janelle is going to have to fight for her rightful share- and yet she’s always worked and Robyn never has. 🤨
So who is reaping the benefits of everyone else’s sacrifices?
It just says a lot about who Robyn and Kody truly are. Of course they feel like they’re soul mates- they are both terribly selfish, materialistic individuals who have now trauma bonded and think of their relationship like it’s “them against the world”. They can’t even see how THEY created the toxicity that pushed everybody away and made the public viewers despise them both.
I’m so happy for the OG three and their children who escaped this narcissistic pattern of abuse! I hope they all have wonderful, fulfilling, and God-based lives. They deserve so much peace. ❤

When the family split up, they didnt have access to the whole pie because the ladies each started their own companies to get paid through. And the women quit putting into the pot from their other jobs.

I was a step mom my former step daughter who has since passed had eye surgery when she was 10, I had to FORCE her father to make her a priority that day, to be at her surgery, to shower her with affection and love and gifts even, he didn't want to be there the selfish pryck...a CHILD needs their parent present and attentive for a surgery, it's terrifying and a child's instincts are to cling to their parents...Kootie is a selfish deadbeat POS he doesn't deserve anyone or anything

As a viwere that wad so painful and hard to watch. I prayed Christine would do the right thing.
Christine is the heart of the family. I think deep down Robyn was envious of that. Christine left with her family, and Robyn got to keep the man-child.
Robyn definitely went after Christine. And, for the life of me, I can't think why. What more did she want from Christine?
Right? I loved in this interview when Christine said that Robyn “doesn’t have what it takes to hold the whole family together”. So true, but Christine sure did and after she left, the whole thing was done.
They would never have had the TLC show without Christine and they knew it. She had the name in the AUB, she was doing advocacy, she had the personality.
From the beginning Robyn was jealous of Christine. She was the heart if the family, all the kids loved her. She kept telling Kody how mean Christine was to poison the well. She finally got her wish, all of Kodys time. Wait.... she didn't want all his time without the family money attached! Robyn made her own little prison. I predict she will clean kodys pockets clean once the show money dries up. A fitting end for the them both, meanwhile the rest of the og3 are living their best lives! The best revenge is happiness and freedom. Boom.

I made a very long post about how Robyn manipulated Kody’s emotions and temper to hurt Christine. What I’d give for that narcissistic AB to wake up and see how he was a pawn in Robyn’s game. The only reason he was so angry was because Christine figured out a way to take the money from the house. That's the only reason he was upset because he knew it was checkmate.
And the funny thing is, he put that in motion! Only way Robyn could get her house was with Kody, and Kody couldn't get approved if he was still on Christine's mortgage....worked out for the best for Christine in the long run!

This is the BEST interview I have ever seen with Christine. You asked all the questions other interviewers don’t ask. I wish it went on longer. I love how open and honest Christine was with her sex life - we’re all adults here and I can understand how uncomfortable this must be to answer, but you asked so respectfully it felt natural and not awkward. It also put a lot of things into perspective and just makes me feel more connected as to how she must have felt in a loveless marriage. Living with Kody seems like a hell I’d never want to go through with my husband of 15 years. I hope Christine has a long happy marriage with David. I look forward to her next chapter and I hope we all get to see them grow old together if she lets us. Thanks for this eye opening interview!

I have never watched Sister Wives, yet this is has been one of my favorite episodes ever. You can tell the energy between you both, even through zoom, is extremely genuine and honest and perfect. I hope to see her again. Heather as always, beautiful. 😘
Sukanya pandered to Kody stating he’s a good man🤔He refused to attend his daughters surgery, yet went unmasked to a wedding the next week. Forgets his kids birthdays/abandoned Savanna during the holidays. Sounds like a good man to me! 🙄😩 They moved to Flagstaff bc helicopter mom Sobbin’s son was moving there to attend college. Heaven forbid anyone have autonomy and control of themselves. Robyn stated it would be a half/ broken version of the holiday -why? bc she wasn’t apart of it. She didn’t want them over, however, how dare they actually fellowship with one another as a family without her. Lastly, what kind of women even stays with a man not financially supporting or there for ALL his kids/medical emergencies? She is conniving and greedy only looking out for “her” birth kids and her shopping 🛍️ sprees. She is an opportunist who will leave clueless Kody when the well runs dry, just like she did her ex-husband. Oh and K vetted R my a**!😂 She came with 30k debt, a messy divorce, 3 kids, and a load full of drama. Not to mention she was stalling him while Christine was getting ready to deliver a high risk pregnancy. Trust he wasn’t driving 5 Hrs. to just hold hands/talk. Christine and David deserve a 🌎 of happiness R&K deserve each other

Meri agreed tog along with the reason, why she should divorce Kody, so he could be officially married to Robin so he outdone adopt her kids. So everything changed when Robin came in the family! So happy all Janelle & Meri also has left! So happy for Christine!❤️

This was such a great interview, Heather! There is one thing that I would like addressed. Throughout all 4 parts of the tell-all, Kody whined about how Christine bad mouthed him to his children. First, when it came to their intimacy issues, he was vocal about that on the show and the kids watched it. They also knew that something was wrong because of the way he showed favoritism to Robyn AND her kids-this was prior to the pandemic. Kody's a master manipulator and deflector. Love Christine and I hope you can have an update interview.
Amazing! Christine is such a great interviewee. I don’t understand why she didn’t discuss on the show one of her main reasons for leaving was Kody’s refusal to support her with ysabel’s surgery . Why did she not really call him out on the show 🤷🏼♀️ but again amazing to have her on juicy scoop ! Loved it ❤️

But we got a couple of new deets about it in Heather's interview. Like that Kody actually said "I can't be away from 'my family' that long." Wow.

Kody’s explanation for many things have been total “BS”. The one for not being with Isabel during a major surgery was sickening and reflective of the man he has become. Christine is so awesome and the flow between the two of you was easy and interesting. More please.

I wish Heather had talked to her about the role money played. Were they well paid, did the show's success matter that much financially, did the division of family assets cause a lot of problems? Heather always said they must be the worst paid reality show ever to go on for so long with so little to show for it.

That is THE question I would love to hear answered. By someone honest like Christine. It almost seems like it's a taboo subject that all of the adults have agreed to not discuss, because nobody ever asks them about that. If Heather does get another podcast with Christine, I hope she'll ask about the finances. How is it that Robyn is living in a huge home which apparently a lot of family money helped to buy, and Robyn & Kody subsequently bought some land adjacent to the house. And so many other things point to Robyn & Kody having blown a ton of money. Meanwhile Janelle was living in a crappy little rental for so long & said she had not been smart about sharing her financial resources with the family. She didn't have much to show for it.
To be fair it's expensive to raise 18 kids and support 5 adults plus weddings and college. It's been reported they made about $5m total so far.
I believe more!😅 I'm not going to tell you how much money I have..no intelligent person does that. My personal finances are that=personal. Then we pay taxes according to law, etc.

It is so nice seeing Christine happy and in love. I loved seeing her and David together. Seeing the way they love each other is refreshing after watching the horrible way Kody treated her and the wicked mean things he said. Robyn needs to stop acting like a victim. I can't believe she thought those women would meet her and tell her it was ok to be happy with Kody. She didn't care the whole time they were family while she monopolized Kody's time.

I’ve read that they all moved to flagstaff because Robyn’s oldest son wanted to go to college there and Robyn insisted they move and Cody made it happen. I’m surprised Christine didn’t mention this and acted like she had no idea why they moved and the kids didn’t know….heck….I know.
She's probably just that part to protect Dayton.
Trust me I hate Robyn as much as anyone....but they didn't leave Las Vegas just for Robyns son. They did not like the influence the kids had at their highschools. It was also because they could make a lot of money and avoid balloon payments on their houses.

It was so obvious that Robyn always wanted to be the only wife! She is so two faced and back stabbing. She was listening to narcissist Kody complain about the other wives and she fed his anger and ego so he would eventually completely turn not only on his other eives but his kids as well. I wonder now that the other wives are gone now, who will be Robyns next target? Robyn and Kody are both narcissist and the only reason Kody even minutely tried with his other wives is because he didn't want to lose the show and the money from it. I am proud of Christine, Janelle and Meri, women power!!

Everyone knows the Brown's moved to Flagstaff to follow Robyns son to college. Idk why they are still trying to protect Kody and Robyn.
All Robyn wanted was to be on tv and have Meri, Janelle & Christine pay her debts, pay for her nanny’s and housekeepers etc. Now Robyn has more money than the original 3 wives. It’s outrageous they allowed this to happen. imo.
Falling in love should not be used as a shield to let down family and friends. People are upset at his deplorable behavior. Not his feelings. The OG family's needs should have been the priority. Not the other way around. No wonder the integration failed. Kody is like a teenager. Not big on responsibilities and accountability. He's irrational, unbalanced, ignorant and emotional. You don't always just follow your heart. An impulsive person that has managed to run away his family and blame them for it. Bitter. A very poor critical thinker.

I remember in an early show Robyn said she wanted a marriage where they were in a honeymoon and devoted to each other. That's when I knew she was wanting a monogamous relationship for her and kody.

Christine obviously felt very comfortable and that is great a a testament to what a nice person the interviewer is how how she impressed Christine!

Edit: I’m so happy she got to know a lot of people see her struggle in this situation and that you were so caring towards her and clearly understood her point. I feel like any women in this situation is brainwashed into thinking this is “ok” and that is wrong for them to be jealous of their husbands time and intimacy with someone else. Being a Christian I don’t believe at all this is the way it’s supposed to be because Jesus states in the Bible 1 woman 1 man. I know some people might hate this comment but I’m not trying to be condescending, I really feel badly for women that grow up thinking they have to give everything and expect hardly anything back from the person that they’re with 😔 I hope her and the other sister wives meet wonderful people who put into relationships all that they do or they enjoy their freedom and time without a significant other.
Anyway, SUCH an interesting subject! People live such different lives! It’s fun getting insight into a completely different way of living (I used to LOVE watching wife swap for the same reason)

What I know of Sister Wives is mostly from this show. Christine seems like she's in a great place now that she's free from Kody. He sounds like a nightmare.
This was great. Good job with this interview. I like that you made her feel at ease and not judged. This was Christine healing more. Kudos to you for being a helpful contributor to that for her. So many people just want the story and don't care how it impacts the person. Christine is lovely and kind, I relate to her so so much because I divorced someone just like her ex after the same amount of time. Thankfully no children. But to be where she is, that is the freedom of spirit and soul she deserves! I wish her and David the very best, they both deserve their happiness. I am in process of my own as well. Godspeed friend.
I think the “ in our covenant we promised each other” conversation that Cody was saying in their private time that he didn’t love the other ladies to try to make Robin feel special and then that’s how that conversation came up. That’s what I believe.

I don't believe for one second Sobyn is grieving over the loss of the family or feels powerless..she feels VERY powerful & is pretending to advocate for the other wives & pretending to be sad & wanting "the family" I think thats the one point most people dont realize. She's putting on a facade.
