As a single mom with two kids in college, the University scandal really pissed me off. This was not a victimless crime. You can’t tell me both parents as well as the kids knew exactly what they were doing. I would have loved to see each and every one of them, including William H Macy, do jail time. Make them an example. Rant over.

Soo first let me just say there are 2-3 songs she's did no later than her 2nd album that I loved, had downloads of, and still in rotation over here today...I'm a big ass music fan tht centers on singr-songwtr, alternative, indie and r&b genre/artists and my taste goes out from there and when hear some shit I can relate to/find meaning that hits diff...phew!! NOW to what we here for: I wish somebody anyone could tell me what the fuck does she do that's so great everything has sounded the same since the third album also that "Folklore" album she did tht during covid holed up in mtn mansion with two of my FAV music producers/artists they produced it and even co-wrote some some with her ass!! So then why could I not even listen to one track all the way through whole album!!?? how TF did that happen 🤷♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏼♂️ Gd math ain't mathin on tht...and her "style" HA HA HA obvi nonexistent...I'll say this and hope it makes sense: EVERYTHING I've EVER seen her wear to ANY event, even day-to-day clothing, always looks like what a little girl (if you were to ask them) would think a woman should wear to said event...so nope!! to quote my comrade @maddied58 "never have been never will be"
Re: Wendy Williams: It is very sad. Everything went downhill after she got on TV. I loved her radio show. It was very “Juicy Scoop” for its time. It was a smaller production, the topics were juicy and spontaneous and if you knew about it then you knew about it. She was great on the radio.
@@feliscatus6419 yes her husband was sketchy. About the tv show, I just think she had more freedom to get real juicy and speak her mind spontaneously on the radio show. She would go off on hilarious tangents and gossip. She was raw and wild. Her tv show sort of diluted that energy because she had an audience in her face and it was national television.

Lana del Rey was featured on Taylor’s song “Snow on the Beach” but you can’t hear her voice. Lana has been nominated 15 times but no wins. The Oscars and Golden Globe snubbed her and she didn’t win for “Young and Beautiful” on the The Great Gatsby soundtrack.
Thank you all for talking about the college topic. I returned at 34...I am now 36, so I have 6 more years (I am going to law school and unfortunately nursing classes do not transfer!) When I was 18 I could only imagine certain colleges to get into or I felt so ashamed. I have no shame saying my associate degree in Paralegal Studies is from Rose State College (yep, you haven't heard of it!). However, I love the classes so much more then when I was 18-20 in nursing and a more "upscale/respectable" college. All my Professors know my name!!! It is amazing, lol!

You brought back so many memories, those tall glasses with the gold leaves...my grandma used to serve us kool aid in them when we visited and had supper with her....my mom and her wigs, and her hats....Jackie Kennedy made them so popular and my mom had stacks of hat boxes with amazing hats inside...pillbox, cloche, fedora, wide brimmed...hats trimmed with fur, some with net that came down to your eyes, satin bows. Life magazine with its feature on Jackie K and other socialites....as a kid I loved reading it and felt so grown up, lol. I love Feud: Capote vs the Swans, and revisiting the years I was a kid in. Wonderful episode

My favorites
I was born in 1960, a late in life baby so my two brothers were grown and gone. My folks would have couples over to entertain and play cards weekly. I have great memories from those days, I would sneak around and listen to their conversations, sip a few of their drinks. Fun times!
We used to steal their cigarette butts when they made us dump the ashtrays bc we left the "room mom threw us in" 😂😂

The chiropractor I work with survived Stiff Persons Syndrome, he’s close to 25 years since (it used to be called Stiff Mans Syndrome).

I have been secreting for over a week that Heather would do a Celine impression ❤️ Thank you Brandy (and Julie). Also the dude who does the climate tracking for celebrities’ private jets only releases the info (which is also public so anyone could see in real time) 24 hrs+ after the flights so it’s not a safety threat on his end anymore than it is that the real time tracking is available as part of aviation laws. To highlight the environmental impact is not terrible- they can fly private but they should be trying to offset it somehow.
Taylor didnt even make eye contact with Celine! Heather never gets all the facts right.

Poor Wendy Williams, she’s a mess. The combination of addiction, depression, and her eating disorder has overcome her. She’s not even the same person anymore.
I was so distraught at how her show ended and how she never really apologized to her fans. I don’t know it just got so bizarre very quickly like nobody that helped her run. Her show was interviewed about what really happened. Just really sad. Really sad for her. I think she’s got a lot of bad people around her.

The ‘McDonald’s coffee lady’ was SEVERELY burned in the worst way, in the worst area and it took forever to semi-recuperate, she had lasting repercussions and it’s believed it shortened her life.
It was not a superficial burn like we all used to believe. She had to sue because the medical bills were a lot more than her insurance covered. It was also proven that McDonalds settled MANY other suits in the past but continued to keep their coffee at a dangerous temperature.
1:15:51 The woman who sued McDonald’s was elderly, was burned so severely she had skin fusions, and asked only for help w her medical bills. There is a whole documentary about it. Yet she gets trotted out as an example of frivolous lawsuits constantly.
This case is brought up in every tort class. Because of this case now there are caps in punitive damages. In some cases this is just and in some cases there isnt any amount of money enough justification. She did seek punitive damages and was awarded a ridiculous amount of money because that's what punitive damages do - punish by piercing that corporate vail and literally making them pay.

University of Oregon is a great school! I think the professors there are really good. It’s a big school with small classroom feeling. And I live in Palm Beach Florida now and it rains more here than it did in Eugene.
