Πώς ένα φλεγόμενο φλαμίνγκο αποτέλεσε την έμπνευση για τη δημιουργία ενός από τα πιο βιώσιμα έργα στην Ευρώπη.
Το Laguna Coast Foundation, με έδρα τη Στελίδα Νάξου, έχει δημιουργήσει τον οδικό χάρτη για το μεγαλύτερο έργο ανάπλασης στη νησιωτική Ελλάδα. Από τη στιγμή της παρουσίασής του, μόλις έναν χρόνο πριν, το έργο αυτό έγινε θέμα συζήτησης σε εγχώρια και διεθνή μέσα, ιδιαίτερα μετά τη συνάντηση των στελεχών του με τον Πάπα Φραγκίσκο στο Βατικανό τον περασμένο Νοέμβριο. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τόσο την ανάγκη προστασίας και σεβασμού του περιβάλλοντος όσο και την τάση για μια αληθινή εμπειρία των επισκεπτών, προβάλλει την ανάγκη για μια νέα προσέγγιση τουρισμού, τονίζοντας τη βιωσιμότητα, την αυθεντικότητα και την ολιστική προσέγγιση, έχοντας ως επίκεντρο την προστασία και την αναγέννηση τόσο του περιβάλλοντος όσο και του ανθρώπου.
Με τη σημερινή παρουσίαση του Documentary στο Νταβός κατά τις εργασίες του Greek House, του World Economic Forum, παρουσιάζοντας το masterplan πιλότο που μπορεί να δημιουργήσει τον τουρισμό νέας γενιάς και να συνδράμει ουσιαστικά στην εξέλιξη της οικονομίας, κοινωνίας και της προστασίας του περιβάλλοντος, το Laguna Coast Foundation αποκτά διεθνή καταξίωση, φήμη και αναγνωσιμότητα.

How a flamingo on fire inspired one of the most sustainable projects in Europe.
The Laguna Coast Foundation, based in Stelida, Naxos, has created the roadmap for the largest regeneration project in the Greek islands. Since its presentation just one year ago, this project has become a topic of discussion in both domestic and international media, especially after its leaders met with Pope Francis in the Vatican last November.
