I wanted to buy one but i don't have enough money haha because i just bought the prodigal.
one reason why palpatine's saber is so weird (in lore) is that he and his master Plagueis only had lightsabers as a backup, and as a way to mock the Jedi. Plagueis especially didn't really care for lightsaber combat even though he was skillful, and that obviously was passed down to Plapatine when he trained him. That is why Palps lightsaber hilt is horrible, he didn't prize it like the Jedi do, he only had it just in case, and to mock the Jedi's love for their weapons. His wepon was the force.

Man you have no idea how much of an obi-wan fanboy I am. I loved Star Wars so much as a kid I got into sword fighting/ mma and I always took inspiration from his defensive fighting style in whatever I did, so I am beyond envious of your obi-wan sabers. I got one I liked that sorta looked like his but literally everything in this video puts me to shame.
