First off amazing content, really enjoying it -- great dialogue to go with the art process, thank you! You spoke about being more academic in your navigating the construction of your art, anything in particular that you could expand upon?
Every studio needs at least a couple of plaster casts! These days, it's safe and easy to take casts from life in the studio, too, with skin-safe kits. Note this artist's delicate grip on a long piece of vine charcoal- that's a great way to work with any drawing medium, a grip that's firm enough to apply light pressure, but gentle enough that the instrument could be pulled from the hand without much effort. Very nice!

I draw way much better when I was 17 yrs old in 1997. You spent too much money on the studio and fancy equipment.
