I think it's more like Sesshomaru is still alive. It's implied that his father was at least a 1000 years old when he died and could have lived about that much longer if he hadn't been killed. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he could still be alive in Kagome's time.
I worked really hard to earn this ending, but I never finished the second playthrough to get it. I really burned myself out on this video game. I *had* to have played it 7 times in the two months after buying it, but I never regretted it! Jumping into the Inuyasha universe is what I'm sure any fan would love to do, and I got a little bit of that here. And also, whom ever decided on the cover art for the game case deserves 10 billion dollars! Nothing says 'buy me' like the main character holding out his hand to the prospective player.

Choose "Tell Sesshomaru about Rin". Then do all of the random events with Sesshomaru. The first is in "The Field of Ignorance", "Road to Kasasagi", and "Forest to Tsuzumi". At the end of the game you will get the Sesshomaru ending.
Because we never see him like we do the others, I’ve always interpreted this ending as Sesshomaru actually bumping into Kaname in the future and already being gone by the time she turns around.
You most likely missed the last random event with Sesshomaru. This last one is vital for the Sesshomaru ending. You can find it the third time the question marks show up and is the one titled Pass to CastleTown. Its a event where Kaname tries to protect Sesshomaru, quite funny really. After this, when you save the game, Sesshomaru's icon should replace whoever was closest to Kaname. I hope that helps!

I think the girl is the reincarnation of Rin but with the emotional connection to Seshomaru that never died. She knows him, he's familiar to her, almost as she remembers her life with him. It's totally her, I mean, look at her mannerisms, she acts like Rin at the end, talks in the same way Rin did.

You can also have bonds with certain characters, so theirs multiple endings depending on the bond levels. its an RPG, There is also a fighter game but i like this one the most out of all of em.

I played this game long ago. I can't remember the plot exactly because the game is very long. the game let you choose the main character. so it could be either the boy or the girl. the player character's plot is similar to kagome's plot. their family runs the shrine. and they accidentally went to the feudal era.( I think they fell into the broken storage floor. that's why when they came back home they woke up on the storage's floor) they met with inuyasha's group. kagome tried having them jump into the well to go back to the modern world but nothing happened so they got stuck there and things happened (I think they found their own ancestor there just like kagome found kikyo lol) you can have the bond with the character you chose (like when you take a rest in the village it will let you choose who you wanna talk to/etc)I think sesshomaru's ending is hard to get. coz mainly the main character is with inuyasha's group. so that's why in the ending it will pop up whoever you have the strongest bond with.

I wonder if I can still play. Someone stole my old ps2 and memory card when I was a kid so I lost the 16 playthroughs I worked so hard for. I only needed 2 more plant combinations. But waiting to come back to a village for a crop takes forever 😫

I'm not that good with English.(I'm Asain) I managed to miraculously finish the game while getting lost all the time because there were a lot of things I don't understand lol. There was a time I gave up playing because I was lost in the spider temple. I ran in there for hours , lost, then stopped playing. then went back to playing after a few months and realized I missed the stairs to the basement lol

It's called Inuyasha: Secret of the Cursed Mask. I'm not sure what consoles you can play it on, but I have the PS2 version. She is the main character that you play as (there's also a boy version of her). You enter the Feudal Era through your storage room and befriend Inuyasha and everyone else. It's a pretty awesome game with cut scenes and a lot of action. However, that is also the downfall. You can't take 5 steps without having to fight stupid demons. It gets annoying but, you can flee.
and on a side note it takes place in the feudal era of japan when women married at around 16.. so im pretty sure inyasha's mother was still really young when she met inutaisho ( I don't think the manga or anime say how old he was but the estimations give him an age of 1000-3000 years old not sure if any are right but he's still old) so age doesn't really mean much when it comes to human/demon relations
I would be so sad to be away from him. I can kind of understand how Kagome feels at the end of the manga now. T___T I don't know if I'd be able to choose between living in this world or being with Sesshomaru.

Reincarnation has NOTHING to do with blood ties. Kagome isn't blood related to Kikyo but she's still her reincarnation. Kikyo and Kaede never had kids.

I managed to miraculously finish the game while getting lost all the time because there were a lot of things I don't understand lol. There was a time I gave up playing because I was lost in the spider temple. I ran in there for hours , lost, then stopped playing. then went back to playing after a few months and realized I missed the stairs to the basement lol

@anitatcm Kaname Kururugi is one of the main characters from Inuyasha, Secret of the Cursed mask video game. You can choose between her and a male character. you can change their names.The story is is that you fall through the floor of your storage shed and wind up in feudal Japan, and depending on your actions in the game, you can get different endings. It's called Inuyasha: Secret of the Cursed Mask. I'm not sure what consoles you can play it on, but I have the PS2 version. She is the main character that you play as (there's also a boy version of her). You enter the Feudal Era through your storage room and befriend Inuyasha and everyone else. It's a pretty awesome game with cut scenes and a lot of action. However, that is also the downfall. You can't take 5 steps without having to fight stupid demons. It gets annoying but, you can flee.

and on a side note it takes place in the feudal era of japan when women married at around 16..
so im pretty sure inyasha's mother was still really young when she met inutaisho ( I don't think the manga or anime say how old he was but the estimations give him an age of 1000-3000 years old not sure if any are right but he's still old)
so age doesn't really mean much when it comes to human/demon relations
I would be so sad to be away from him. I can kind of understand how Kagome feels at the end of the manga now. T___T I don't know if I'd be able to choose between living in this world or being with Sesshomaru.

People speculate that the children of sesshomaru in the inuyasha sequel could either have Rin or Kaname Kururugi as a mother.
I though that was Kagome, then Rin after the whole Sesshomaru thing lol.

Es de un videojuego de Inuyasha donde eres un personaje (igual que Kagome) que va a la época antigua. Se puede elegir entre está chica y un chico de secundaria muy parecido.
The girl is Kaname Kururugi, and the boy is Michiru Kururugi. I have everyones ending besides Sesshoumarus now.
lol these comments that she is Rin's reincarnation. Nope. She's actually related to someone else in the game. But seriously it sucks that this is probably the only way I'll get to see this ending. I have been struggling to get that ending with this damn game.
Reincarnation has NOTHING to do with blood ties. Kagome isn't blood related to Kikyo but she's still her reincarnation. Kikyo and Kaede never had kids.
When you switch places with Utsugi and you go to Naraku's castle, the game gives you the option to find the others or tell Sesshomaru about Rin. Choose "Tell Sesshomaru about Rin". Then, do all of the random events with Sesshomaru. The first is in "The Field of Ignorance", second time around go to "Road to Kasasagi", and last time go to "Forest to Tsuzumi".

Ugh! This sucks! No matter how many frickin' times I play the game, I NEVER get this ending! But no matter how depressed I am about how bad of a gamer I am, I would like to say that you are truly my hero for being able to get this ending. (As well as anyone else who can.)
