The UK government, instead of labeling these people far right or far left, they need to understand that these Brits are tired, tired of struggling. When they see more people coming into the country, they understand that things are only going to get worse. at least don’t try to silence them, instead listen to their concerns. Otherwise, things are going to fester and explode again. We have the same problem in the USA.
Brexit may have decreased jobs in UK, or may have turned UK to East Europe during the 1990's. Thee average neighborhood looks like a working class neighborhood. This decreased the number of East Europeans and Sicilians getting job opportunities. The asylum seekers may essentially from Africa and Arab countries, few from Pakistan or East Pakistan (Bangladesh ),it seems. They say if they are deported, they will be tortured. They may become a burden in society. I know one professor from India working in a college or university. I know a somewhat pretty girl from east India who graduated with a masters degree in journalism in England during Covid lockdown somewhere in England . she is working in a news related company.
