- A source tells ET that Christina Anstead will be taking some time to ‘heal’ in the wake of her divorce from Ant Anstead after two years of marriage. Christina and Ant share a one year-old son, Hudson. The source said they plan to co-parent and will ‘remain friends.’ The couple married less than a year after Christina’s divorce was finalized from Tarek El Moussa in 2018. Amid Christina’s quickly evolving personal life, the source added that she ‘never had a moment to take a breath.’

This is true. My siblings and I have been through that with our mom's four marriages. Having her change to a new husband every few years and having so many step siblings in and out of our lives was terrible. Some parents can be selfish!

What has happened to working on a marriage? So many so quick to end what is meant to be forever. As the 2nd wife of a blended family I can say, hell no it's not always easy, but it is worth the struggle. Growing old with the same partner is priceless and I believe in forever. 30 year anniversary in March and I can honestly say it could have easily ended before the 2nd or 3rd if we both had given up.
She left him without cause. She has mental illness and blames the men in her life, my ex is currently doing the same and has exactly the same behaviours.

She’s going thru some type of post partum depression. Pregnancy with boys, the baby blues last longer. I know this because my first was a girl and I had 2 boys after her. I was emotional and wanted to be left alone. Now that my youngest son is 3 I’m finally starting to feel better.
Christina also split from tarek when Brayden was a toddler. Same situation now with her 2nd baby.

I stopped supporting Christina during Flip or Flop when it was clear that there were tensions. It also showed how self absorb she was, kind of wanting it all without working for it. I will admit I have not watched her new shows for the same reason, so this really did not shock me that she is not making it in another relationship.
Paula Jacobs Tarek doesn't say much. But he did say in Dr. Oz how his personality changed during cancer treatments. What does it say about her when she divorces a two time cancer survivor? She didn't stick around for the "sickness" part of her wedding vows. Tarek made it very clear he wasn't the one who wanted a divorce.

Christina went out with their contractor after she and Tarek split up. Bad decision. Tarek also started to date immediately according to the story lines, so we don't know who was at fault. Tarek is moving right along with his romantic life, engaged, having the kids taken care of by the fiance. Where's the judgement now? Nobody knows but the El Moussas and the Ansteads themselves. For me, I can't wait for the new season of Flip or Flop. I don't judge them.....I just enjoy their show. Watching their other shows sometimes but Flip and Flop and the 3 kids appearing a with them now are my favorites.
I like all of the home rebuilding/remodeling shows.

Totally understand this situation. It was something new and different -basically a distraction from exploring her own feelings about her past marriage. Its a smart move for her to step back, there’s no shame in learning , even if it means going it alone to rediscover herself.

I think people don’t realize how extremely difficult it is to have a blended family. And then you add a brand new baby to the mix! I’m sure she felt like giving up many times. My instincts tell me she should have hung in there a little longer. It really does get better.

Ive always enjoyed watching Flip or Flop and was sad to hear she and Tarek broke up. Tarek was devastated as was Ant. there fore I conclude Christina herself doesnt know or appreciate what she had. Now Tarek has moved on and is happy with his new love. One thing Ill say for Christina ,is mothering is a natural for her. She is a good mother but on the wife side? No man is perfect and she should have been more patient when Tarek was going through cancer treatments . They made a good team in flipping houses. Just sad.

The world suddenly becomes very unsafe to a child when their mother and father go from being together under one roof to suddenly one of them no longer being there. Visiting your father (or mother) is NOT the same thing. Then when the parents take in with new partners, it is even more damaging and disruptive to the security the child once knew.

People that are leaving bad comments should reflect on their own life. No one is perfect. Its difficult enough been a mother , especially with a new born and then try balancing it with work. So many negative comments as if she can't make mistakes too. I'm sure she knows that she jumped from one relationship to another too soon but she will learn from it. I believe she is a great mother to her kids and she stays friends with her kid's fathers for her kids sake. Most divorces the ex refuses to stay friends and the kids do suffer but her kids should be okay because they stay open about it.
