Great tutorial! It still took me like an hour to learn the asymmetrical and symmetrical shuffles. Saw the scuffles and then just walked away. Thought I would stop while I was ahead.
Wow great tutorial. The georgian shuffle help me learn the overhand claw catch which help with the claw half mess which helped with the georgian scuffle and the claw mills mess and the cherry picker, all moves that i've attempted and failed to learn before. I learned them all within a day thanks to you :) .Great move, i've never seen it anywhere else before. It's a missing link. Thanks!
I couldn't agree more, 5 years of juggling now, i not only don't like pirouettes but i find they hurt my knees if i don't spin right. and i just get to dizzy from spinning to continue juggling. Most I'll learn is 3 up 360 and that is it.
@Roma76811 No, pirouettes are stupid :P I've done a 4 ball 2 up 720 a couple times, as well as a 4up 2 stage 720, and plenty of 5 ball 5up 360s... but I don't work on pirouettes anymore, I'm too fat, and pirouettes look utterly silly even when they are done well.
@Mikulew I already have a tutorial for 4 ball mills mess, search my videos for "how to juggle: 534 mills mess + 531, 522, and 7531 mess" ... there is a part in that video that explains how I learned the 4b mess... I will also make more basic 4 ball tutorials in the near future.
@51skater I've never understood the motive behind the standard "you have too much spare time" comment. I make time for projects like this, and for the things I enjoy doing. I don't do it *because* I have free time. What do people do only because they have too much time, that they wouldn't normally do otherwise? Video production? Probably not... Juggling? Well, maybe... :)
@51skater No worries, I didn't take offence to it. My reply wasn't really supposed to be negative either :) Good luck with your juggling, feel free to email me if you need any help!
Ok, So I got the Asymmetrical for the Georgian shuffle for both sides. But, how you explained with the under the arm multiplex, Im still ending up how I would be if I normally start. I still cant transfer to the opposite side to get the full symmetrical shuffle
ok , i can do georgian shuffle from both sides, i followed your steps to do the symetrical version but it didn't work for me. i don't understand what i should do after i am in that position as you show in 5:02
Seriously fantastic and good explanation! I got really inspired! Check out my juggling demonstration called 25 BASIC 3 BALL JUGGLING TRICKS! It also includes the symmetrical Georgian Shuffle!
I'm sorry. I put that comment up as a joke thinking I could add "just kidding" later but completely forgot about it. I myself am learning to juggle but still havent completely mastered the 3 ball cascade. My apologies and I hope you can find it funny. In some way.
@Roma76811 Sorry, I cannot make a 5up 360 tutorial, because 360s are stupid :P hahaha... Search Chris Fowler's videos (AKA "Juggleboy360") for a very good pirouette tutorial. Here's the link (watch?v=5gT9otGbNVs)
I'm a bit confused by the symmetrical georgian shuffle. I can do it on the one side but I'm not really sure what is happening when you say to just continue on the other side. Should I learn the first bit of the trick on both sides? If so you didn't really mention this. Sorry I realise this is an old video :D

Thank you so much, excellent breakdown, one of the best tutorials I've come accross. You helped me learn this trick!

@747Hero Yes, anyone may enter the contest. See the IJA website for details.
Mix the Georgian Shuffle with Weave and the Factory - awesome combination of balls flying around and weaving in and out.
