Installing NordVPN on Amazon Fire TV is very easy and will take only a few minutes. After this, you will enjoy top-notch protection and will be able to enjoy secure connections. All you need to do is just download the app and set it up. It will take only a few minutes to do this. Then it will encrypt your traffic and route it through a remote server.
Here are the steps you should follow to install NordVPN on your Amazon Fire TV. Just keep in mind that first-generation Amazon Firestick doesn’t support VPN connections.
First, download the NordVPN app for your Amazon Fire device.
To do this, tap the Find section on your Amazon Fire TV home screen and choose Search. When there, type in “Nord VPN” in the search bar and choose the suggested result. Then tap on the NordVPN window under the Apps & Games section and then click Download.
Choose Open once the application has been installed. In the main menu of the application, tap Sign up if you want to create a new account or Log in if you already have one.
If you choose Log In, a QR code will appear. Scan it with your smartphone and wait until it loads the NordAccount page. There you will need to proceed with the login process by entering your details. When you log in to NordVPN on your TV, you should receive a number that you should enter on your computer or mobile device.
Now you can use NordVPN on your Fire TV device. If you click Connect Now, the app will choose the best available server for you. When connecting to a server, you may be greeted by a few warning messages. These are default warning messages, so just press OK and mark all the necessary checkboxes.
Alternatively, you can choose a server in a desirable country in the All Countries menu.
Under the Specialty servers menu, you can find various server categories to choose from.
In the Settings menu, you can find other application settings, like CyberSec, select a VPN protocol, Allow local network discovery, and set Custom DNS.
In the Trusted apps section, you can also add specific apps to bypass the VPN connection, also known as split-tunneling. So you can easily customize the application according to your needs.

Hello, I just downloaded your app and signed in on my Firestick 4K Max and I'm only showing P2P, Onion over VPN and Double VPN in the Specialty Servers. I don't have the Dedicated IP or Obfuscated Servers. Any help you could give me would greatly be appreciated... Thanks

Is there a kill switch for this app on firestick? I just purchased a 2 year contract today and after downloading a torrent i noticed the vpn had disconnected itself.

@@Nordvpn i was with ExpressVPN for 4 years before i got nord, and on that platform you choose which apps use the VPN rather then what does not use the VPN as Nord does. If the VPN connection cuts out then the internet is cut to that specific app.
Let me just add though, i am extremely happy with Nord and very glad i made the jump. It seems to perform much better then expressvpn, its a hell of a lot more stable and the speeds of the encryption are like lightning. Plus its a lot cheaper, overall a much better service,……the reason i left Expressvpn was after being with them for so long i asked if i could have there 15 month deal again rather then the 12 months that you. Get when you first sign with them. Even after explaining to them i could just use a new email to get the deal again they refused.

Hi been with Nord for years on PC, on the FireTV stick will the VPN autostart and connect and is there anything to show that it has ?
On the PC version there is an option to disable internet connection unless you are connected via VPN is this on the Firestick version ?

What happens to your true IP address when NordVPN drops out ? You have no kill switch like you do on Macs/windows machines so are you left exposed to your ISP?
