I bought von for one month that was extremely expensive btw, and I recognized after one month they took one more month payment!!! A VPN will only mask your connection to external networks not your local network (in this case your public wifi provider), if you are connected to a sites like say Netflix or RUclips then you will remain anonymous as the public wifi network administrator(s) will only see you connecting to a NordVPN server rather than the actual IP of the Netflix or RUclips servers.

NORD VPN IS HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever seen. I got the service, and when you have a glitch or problem Customer Service is non existent. So sad to say but you get what you pay for. I fell for the discount. But now, I can't get my Mac to work because there is a pop-up and it can't be deleted or terminated. And when you reach out to "live chat" its a bot... and then after that you have to wait more than 30 minutes to get a live person, if you get one. Stay away from NORD VPN.. Pay a bit more but get a better customer service experience elsewhere. Sadly NORDVPN is only bad CS.

I reinstalled Nord VPN yesterday and agin if messed up my computer. I can no longer shop online, pay bills or access my bank account. Don't get it it Private Internet Access VPN as recommended by Which Magazine instead. It will save you a lot of grief.
I have Nord. Usually when I login in it brings me to screen that says "Great- You're in!". Then when I hit Continue is just brings up the login screen again. You can do it a hundred times and it just keeps going in circles. Eventually it might work. I've been in touch with support. That didn't help. Using this VPN requires some extra time and patience.

Nord VPN charged my credit card without my authorization after 30 day free trial that I cancelled. I find out 2 years later when my subscription I never used but paid for was expiring in a day. I contacted the company about them taking advantage of me with their "30 day free trial", they didn't care at all, didn't try to offer a solution. I'm going after them with my credit card company. Had this thing for years forgot about it notice a $79 payment for a 1year subscription. The Money was taken the 16th of June 2022, I made contact the 18th of June 2022 trying to cancel and get a refund since it was not being used since before covid and they refused..

I have Nord. Usually when I login in it brings me to screen that says "Great- You're in!". Then when I hit Continue is just brings up the login screen again. You can do it a hundred times and it just keeps going in circles. Eventually it might work. I've been in touch with support. That didn't help. Using this VPN requires some extra time and patience.
