      I said this on insta and a guy said it’s not and that I was glazing Bron. How could it not be? Game 7, less than two minutes left, tie game and the opponent is on a fast break to get an easy layup AND it’s at GS. Best block ever in the biggest moment possible.

    • @johnnyd1824
      @johnnyd1824 2 года назад +9

      @@dhollins bruh neither team could make a shot for 2 whole minutes leading up to this everyone knew whoever scored first would have momentum and most likely win the game. If Iggy scores the Warriors weren't losing especially on their home court and Kyrie doesn't get the shot to put a dagger in the series. There was literally only one three pointer and a free throw made after this and they both came from Cleveland. The block wasn't just preventing Iggy from scoring that bucket, it was preventing the Warriors from completing what would've been the greatest season in NBA history which that title still goes to Jordan's Bulls in 96 thx to LeBron of all ppl.

    • @dhollins
      @dhollins 2 года назад

      @@johnnyd1824 🤣 you really wasted your time typing all that to say nothing. The fact that both team were trading bricks for 5 min doesn't make better. Doesn't change the fact that there were still 2 min left in the game. A whole lot more happened after that block. So it's still overhyped. It only talked about cuz lebron made the play. I bet if JR makes that block intead nobody would even remember the block 🤣

    • @johnnyd1824
      @johnnyd1824 2 года назад +1

      @@dhollins 2 minutes can go by real quick when you playing basketball and out of all that time the Warriors's best chance of scoring was the Iggy layup, but LeBron came from outta nowhere and denied it. JR is not making that block cuz it wasn't just speed, it was also timing, knowing when to catch him and be a millisecond away from it being a goaltend. You really think JR is making that block? When I watched live, I thought it was over and the Warriors were gonna win getting that layup, but then I heard a smack and I see that the score was still tied. You claim it to be overhyped, but without that block, Cleveland would be going on 61 years without a major sports championship. Curry would have 5 rings and arguably 2 finals mvps if not more cuz they wouldn't have went to grab KD if they won. That block changed a lot, so stop trying to undermine it cuz you think it's cool to hate on LeBron. Honestly that's like saying Jordan's 63 points against the Celtics don't matter cuz they lost, but that game told the world that Michael Jordan was that nigga and he would go down as the GOAT.

      False. Jordan 98 Jazz. Close second though. Jordan had his right hand man with a bad back (Pippen) virtually not scoring when previously averaging 23 ppg. The Bulls team with no morale because of front office drama, Karl Malone won MVP that season and it was an away game. Final minute down 3, two for one quick layup over Antoine Carr, STRIPS the MVP as the rightful MVP that year, to take it down and dagger the title on a 45 point clutch performance playing nearly every second of the game. Game 7 Warriors vs Cavs was amazing but it was sloppy and all over the place. Bulls vs Jazz was Stockton/Malone magic with Mike doing what Mike does. No comparison despite the series count.

      Your arm can't hit the rim before the shot goes in. But his left arm hits the rim after he blocks it with his right arm. Therefore it's not a goaltend.

    I don’t think people understand how much ground that man had to cover in a matter of 3 seconds to get to that block…even reading the Curry pass precisely at the right moment and even before that reading the turnover and tracking the ball….on top of all that having to get to the ball at the right moment before it’s a goaltending…in a game 7 NBA finals….I mean seriously….how tf can you even compare another block or defensive play to this…this took literally the perfect timing and thought processing in a very short time window to happen….I’m willing to bet my last dollar that if this was any other NBA player ever to play…iggy get a free pay up and point…MJ, Kobe, Yonnis, and whoever else was not gonna go get this block from that far in that short time…period💯🤷🏾‍♂️

      Actually by the rules it is a goaltending. Because his left hand touched the rim. And even if this don't change the outcome it's a gt. So glad they didn't call . Best block in nba history for me

    • @daevydjae
      @daevydjae 4 года назад +6

      LeBron touched the rim but it's not goaltending because the ball did not touch the rim. He also caught it on the way up before it hit the backboard (barely), the ball was not in the cylinder, and he didn't trap the ball against the backboard (barely as it stopped but then went sideways).

    • @Deceptxn
