I feel bad for Grayson a little bit. If we take all star as canon his life has been nothing but a downward spiral since Batman recruited him. Edit: then it ends by being thrown into a volcano.
The worst part is that I absolutely believe that ASBAR was supposed to end hopefully with Robin helping Batman heal and Batman helping Robin heal. But no matter what happened it ends with this trash. The shit with Dick Grayson is absolutely the worst thing Frank ever did. And if he ever returns to this well again I desperately want him to explain himself. Because people tend to forget the last half of ASBAR. Where there is actually a truly amazing scene where Bruce realizes his faults and what hes doing is wrong after Dick nearly kills Hal, and he takes him to his parents grave to grieve. Honestly one of my favorite sequences Frank Miller has ever written. But of course it was never finished so we just have no idea what Frank was intending to do. I would love for some sort of explanation about what happened to Dick and maybe even a redemption of sorts. Because it just seemed like Frank wanted to take the piss out of Robin for the benefit of HIS Robin.
I'm so happy you are redoing some of your older episodes because your new style where you discuss the behind the scenes stuff when you can is some of my favorite parts. I adore learning how stuff is made.

Can't wait to watch this episode, does anyone know if sal has also done: Superman Kryptonite by Darwyn Cooke and Tim Seeley?
Justice by Alex Ross?
Green Lantern Earth One Vol 2?
Ultimate X-Men?
Ultimate FF?
Ultimates 1 vol 2
Omfg it's nearly as long as the Doomsday Clock video 😂😂😂
It’s interesting see someone like miller be against bush era politics, which he seems to really enjoy in holy terror
i mean you have to understand he was living in new york at the time when 9/11 happened. it makes sense that he would have more of a right wing out look at the time writing for holy terror than DKSA. things like DKR and DKSA were about being anti-establishment to a right wing out look.
Oh, Lana? She's Lois's wife now. Well, not legally, but she got her name changed to imply it.
I loved the redux, more of this please! can't wait for secret wars
You guys ever do DK3?
