Love your style! And Ive been trying to take more time in my woodworking lately too. Trying to enjoy the process more and not rush to the end. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much dude! And yeah, what’s the point if we’re not enjoying it? Every other part of life is hectic enough. I have to try to remember to not bring that into the shop
Man thanks for the tip on the miter saw depth screw. I just recently got a new sliding miter and was having issues with the depth of the cut. Problem Solved!
"Which is something I do pretty often actually..." hahahaha. i feel ya! This is great!. I had to pause frame by frame....I thought you slipped something in at 1:34. a brief 1 frame shot... hahaha. looks like an editing goof and not done on purpose LOL. Hell yeah getting a shirt!
Yeah. I messed up and then there’s a weird black spot and I’m missing a voice over part when I’m talking about routing the outside of the legs. Once again…. Rushing. Hahahaha! I didn’t notice til after. I was super annoyed
Dude! Nice work on figuring out the 3/8th vs. 5/8th dilemma, we were all on the edge of our seats for that one! 😅 The table (or bench) is pretty nice too, I guess. J/k, you always make cool stuff!
@@DieTrying13 oh yeah, You’re like 4 hours from me then. If you ever want to do a collaboration, let me know. I need to spark new life into my channel. I’ve been away for a couple months now. Later, take care!
I am a beginner, and I am so scared to get a table saw because of kick back. I was wondering if you could show us what happens during kickback and how to handle it. I don’t mean to actually do a kickback, just maybe show a couple of examples of what could happen during a kickback and how to handle those situations and how to possibly try to prevent it. I mean, I have seen your acting, and it’s totally convincing, it’s so good, in fact, that if I were southern I would say “well, bless your heart” (that’s a compliment right?). 😉 😂 😂😂 Anyway, I love your channel and your builds. Gorgeous table!!!! 😍 I worked at a sawmill, when I was 18, working on a chop saw, with no guard, and cut the tip of my middle finger off. The owner was a complete 🐓 🍭. So, power tools can intimidate me. Anyway, than’ you for sharing your projects with us. 😊
First of all, table saws are the best and also…. Super dangerous. Hahaha! Not really though if you’re safe. I stuck my finger in the spinning blade once. It was wild. Hahaha! Stitches and what not. But, I’m still here. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Push sticks, safety glasses and a helmet is all you really need. Haha! Kidding. One of my shorts is a video of kickback if you’re interested. But there’s no safety information. Just me being a moron… like usial
Table saws are reasonably safe, as already said, safety glasses and a push stick. Butt what will really save you from kickback is a riving knife. These usually come as standard with a table saw. You wouldn't think it from watching some woodworking uploads (this one included) as for some masochistic reason the person uploading removes the riving knife. It basically stops the cut wood from binding which is the most likely cause of kickback.
@richardpender2428 it’s true. Haha! I took mine off years ago and I can’t find it 😢 Fir real though, they’re really important. I’ll find mine soon enough
I lost more than the tip of my middle finger to a lawn mover when I was a kid. There went my NBA career. Stand off to one side of the table saw (not on the side, to one side) and no loose clothing. I use a Gripper, opinions vary. I'm sure there are youtube videos on table saw safety.
Nice job mate looks awesome. Channel's growing aswell Which is always good 😮. 2 things first i can't get a dado over here theres only 1 allowed over here and it's £190($300 ish) second 3/8ths 5/8ths its all irrelevant metric best way to go no need to faff about with fractions a mean how im i supposed to try cobvery something like 17/64ths or some nonsense like that 😂😂👍🏴🤷
I wanna know where people are giving away this wood. Or where you are finding stuff like this on the side of the road. Or the location of these dumpsters. That pile of "dunnage", in my area, would sell for somewhere north of $500 if it is all "softwood". If it's hard wood expect to pay maybe 3 times that.
I get that. But like I said in the video, I go to a place near my house with a bunch of warehouses and I’m able to grab a lot of wood. And I’m a mailman and I’ve gotten lucky with finding wood on the side of the road more times than I can remember. Also, check fb market place for free wood. I’ve gotten stuff on there too. I’m always on the lookout

The saw marks on the top are great look.
I can’t tell if you’re joking or not. Hahaha! I really do love them though.
Love the video brother. Need more woodworking!! God bless

That is a sexy little bench/ stool! call me a masochist, but enjoy sanding the stuff I make. Calming and therapeutic 😂

Sanding sucks
Unlike a lot of people, I enjoy sanding as well.
Nice one! Where'd you snag that nice, fat chunk of wood? Any tips?

@@DieTrying13 I've been a cabinet maker for 40+years I get plenty of free wood but I almost never see good wood for free.
The whole point is, it’s not good. It’s junk. But I like embracing the junk look of it.

You do know you're introducing a lot of plastic to nature when sanding epoxy without dust collection?
You do know if you use dust collection and then dump the dust collection into a garbage can, they just dump it into a landfill?
@@DieTrying13 not if you use one of those magic dust collectors!
