Definitely an essential piece of cowboy gear and hunting gear. I’ve worn these on late season elk and mulie hunts as well as early season pronghorn hunts. They work well on late season hunts to keep you warm and early season hunts to help you cool off. The latter is soaked in cold water from a frozen water bottle kept in a day pack. Have a Happy New Year!
Thank you for sharing your feedback! It’s great to hear how versatile and effective they’ve been on hunts. We love learning about the creative ways our customers use our products-especially your trick with the frozen water bottle to cool off in warmer weather. Have a wonderful New Year, and we look forward to helping you gear up for many more successful hunts!
@ Thank you for the well wishes and I’ll be on the lookout for more of your videos and will checkout your web page. I hope to make it to Alberta sometime soon, maybe taken in an Oilers game and visit one of your stores.
The square knot, also known as the reef knot, isn’t commonly referred to as a “dude knot.” While people sometimes use different informal nicknames, the most widely recognized terms are “square knot” and “reef knot.” This particular knot is useful for joining two ends of a rope or scarf (or two ropes of equal diameter) and is known for being both easy to tie and easy to untie.

Throw in a sock to wash it. I never thought of that! Thanks.
That’s a great tip, right? Sometimes the simplest tricks can make a big difference. Glad it helped-let us know if you discover any other handy hacks!
Just make sure to pull it out of the sock before drying, to hang it up instead of heating it up.
Can you give us an approximate measurement on those?
