I found out who Withers actually is and the fact that he feels the need to remind you about getting distracted by romance is really hilarious to me. Especially his wording lol.
And he will also roast you if you’re NOT distracted by romance. I sent my non-romanced companions to talk to him and he was brutal. He just finally has an opportunity to have some fun. I wish he had more comments about stuff.
Oh, the Astarion approval broadcast continues! Apart from the informative value, it's just very nice to listen to. ^^ As it's a steeper approval loss, if you tell Marcus off while you have the mind-link with him open instead of telling Isobel once she asks, Astarion doesn't seem to mind.
Glad you like it. :) Regarding Marcus - very interesting, I had no idea there's a difference. My monkey brain always goes for 'roll the dice' option when available.
I watched the act 1 and 2 and did almost everything, I was SUPER frustrated bc in my first playthrough I spent 60 hours, redoing all quests for him to reject me in act 3, thanks to your videos now I completed his romance and I just have to say thank you so much, I really appreciate ur job
Huh! I did the talk with Araj too soon and it completely changed the camp scene with Astarion. 😮 This one is so much better, even though the outcome is probably the same. Thanks!
Him taking the player's hand and saying, "I have no idea what we're doing or what comes next. But I do know that this... this is nice," is so sweet and it breaks my little heart.
@@kellyhernandez1191 afaik yes, it has been bugged(?) just for Warlock, everyone else should have an opportunity to talk Yurgir into self-destruction. Should be the same chain, except where I pick Bard option you'd need to pick something else.
I'm a glutton that wishes you could hug him AND tell him that you don't need to have sex until he's ready. It just feels like a non-intimate gesture of comfort and a confirmation that you care about his autonomy all in one.
Mol and Raphael are at Last Light Inn, left from where Jaheira is, in front of to the stairs that lead up to Isobel. I think he will always be at Mausoleum even if you don’t meet him at Last Light. If Mol doesn’t appear at Last Light - I don’t 100% know all the reasons since it never happened to me, but one thing that could be is if you don’t persuade Rolan and his siblings stay at the Grove in Act 1 more tieflings, including kids, die in the ambush in Shadow-Cursed Lands. Also, if Raphael and Mol are there but you initiate Isobel fight before talking to them, Mol gets snatched, so you can’t get this scene anymore. And I don’t know if Raphael will be there if you first spoke to him at the Mausoleum.
How much is "High" or "Very High"? I'm almost ending act 2, qnd just after Oblora hit the "good relationship" point. Now, he greets me as friend. No hug scene. I think I messes up
@@bibianac.1131 High is 40-60 (I think this is where you’re now), Very High is 60-80. Did you have romance scene(s) with him in Act 1? Was he giving you flirty greetings before? Normally he wouldn’t switch to friend greetings after romance ones unless you tell him you wanna stay friends instead during the “confession” scene.
@@carianbandit I just discovered I did had the "full" confession scene. He did'nt said anything about his "plan". Strangelly, I got Wyll's romance scene before all that (just to see where it went) and, when I spoke to Astarion, I answered something like not being taken, then he replied with " well, then consider yourself taken!" Oh well, I'll sacrifice myself to the brain then 🤷🏻♀️ (and start another PT)
@@bibianac.1131 if you get the version of the confession scene after speaking to Araj what he says is indeed different, he won't go with "I had a nice simple plan...". However, it still should lock the romance in and give an option to "talk about us", etc. if you were romancing him at that point.
please explain why in the current patch I have a completely different dialogue with Astrion after talking to Raphael, and at the end of the scene my character generally shouts "I'll rip your guts out" to Astrion (I flirted with him in the dialogue before that)
Hi ! Does anyone know if I can start romancing him in Act 2 ? I was going for shadowheart in Act 1 but had a change of heart, I just rejected her after Nightsong and already had all the cutscenes + Astarion approvals up to the confession one, that I’m yet to get. Will I get it or did I just friend zoned myself on all sides ? 😭
I’m afraid you did. Starting any origin romance after helping Nightsong is way too late, your only options going forward would be Halsin or Minthara in Act 3. You have to start the romance with Astarion in Act 1. If you rejected his advances then, you can’t romance him anymore. If you didn’t have enough approval in Act 1, it’s still possible in Act 2 by following certain steps. But it’s not something you could do anymore anyway, unfortunately.
You: hugs astarion Him: hugs you back ME: MAN I WISH THAT WERE ME Jokes aside, i dont recognize most people in this video (which makes sense because i havent even finished my first campaign). Did you get into moonrise towers through the power of talking, without the help of the harpers? How did you do that?
If you come there before going to Shadowfell, people at Moonrise aren’t aggressive & think you’re a True Soul because of the tadpole. There are other benefits to going to the tower before dealing with Nightsong, but I won’t spoil. You can also choose to sneaky kill some of the bad guys there before the actual battle.

@@carianbandit I agree. He needs more dialogue.
why is hilarious? explain plz
I got friendzoned by Karlach and then Withers insulted me for not having a partner 😭
I absolutely love that you can distract someone by thinking about astarian's pale shape 😆

I just reached Act 2, but I told Astarion "Sure, makes sense." when he mentioned Raphael and he approved c:

Thanks for the info, I’m interested to know about other approvals lurking in dialogues.

How did you convince yurgir to kill himself and his minions???? Like what you gotta do to get that option cause I dont remember that option.
Edit: Are you playing a Warlock by chance? I think they don’t have this option.

Just by the first long rest after arriving at Moonrise.
