i had tears listening! I heard myself in every word she was saying! I grew up Satmar and started learning Chassidus at 16, BH i got married to a Chassidic man, and am now fully Chabad. I would love to meet Raizy!
The best thing I love about you Raizy is that you're not black & white like The Stepford Wives rather you're a unique creation of Hashem with your own color palette and so am I. The Shul I go to Chabad of central Brooklyn accepts all kinds of people and they don't look at you if you're different. We give a lot of love to each other
I have heard the story of "the yom kippur jew" many times, but I always thought the message was to judge people favorably. i never that to apply that message to myself, to judge myself favorably and that when I do good, that is my true self, and when i fall that isn't the real me
I have said and felt the exact same for years about this subject. Not everyone is ready to hear this opinion or accept the truth. But it is how it is for a lot of people. And only by accepting it can you change it
I would add a thought. When my children were young I stayed home with them and took care of them, my husband, and our home. At some point, it was after my youngest went to middle school, I went back to school. It was a long, complicated journey, but Hashem led me to teaching. In the last 21 years I have extended my love and care for my own children to those of others. Sometimes it's not either/or but which season of life you are in.
Raizy - I do know for a fact that your school taught what the baal Shem tov stood for. I think you may have forgotten. And your parents may have not spoken much about it. Though I know that the stories you grew up on where very steeped in explaining who we are as chasidim. I do think your Nechama was looking for something more. Chabad is very steeped in Kiruv therefore they have different things they do that is not done in different chasidish places. Chabad is unique in that. I agree that chabad has something that other chasidim don’t give over as well. I’m understanding you were looking for refresh of your neshomo. And found it.
WRong. He is a murderer. This goes against the Ten Commandments killing is not moral or legal either unless it's in self-defense directly and you're in danger And this is not the right medium for your opinion
Dear ones, I cannot help but remember because what I write may have a very important meaning for Israel. And all we can do for Israel is never too much. Dear friends, I would like to tell you that shortly after the terrorist attacks, I wrote, via email, to Chabad Director Rav Zalman Shmotkin and several Rabbis such as Aaron L. raskin, Leib Rojtenberg Avraham Gloiber and even an IDF RUclips Channel and others, in addition to posting in the comments of several Rabbi Channels that due to the Presence of the Mashiach who has been holding MEETINGS in Israel for years, Israel's enemies will fight among themselves as in the old days of the KingHezekiah.and, there it is happening! Long live MASHIACH! RAV SHLOMO YEHUDAH. Important note: I am NOT religious; just an EMPIRICAL OBSERVER

As a fellow chassidishe woman Raizy thank you so much for being vulnerable and open like that it helps others so much. What you're saying is gold
I'm so happy for you that you came to a better place. Thank you for sharing so honestly.

Raizy I am so glad to see you! I gave up instagram where I first saw you and then lost touch. Wonderful interview!
Its amazing that Raizy came to realize that despite external success, something WAS lacking, and she had the courage to change. Inspiring
This was incredibly inspirational. I love your videos. The stories are so beautiful and motivating. ❤❤❤

Even tough people learn things as children, it's very different until one needs to apply it.
@ttee6990. Defensive any?
She was saying that it was taught in story form and that actual chasidus wasn’t taught which is true and is common in many girl schools
A rebbetzin friend told me this❤
But u grew up Chasidic? Didn't u learn all this? Just wondering
I didn't think most Chassidim were on social media????
