- This was my 2023 Top Left Award nomination video, but now that the awards are done, I'm releasing it as my response to Brian's response to my Tenth Man response video. Enjoy.
I feel sorry for Brian. He knows flat earth is nonsense but he’s in too deep. And if he gives it up, he’s back to being a lonely nobody.
He’s either in too deep or a true believer. Frankly, it’s clear he likes playing expert. Too bad he can’t keep his mouth shut making it clear he has no idea what he is talking about. He’s gotten talking while saying nothing down to a science.
The sad part is that Brian has shown that he has the ability to think somewhat reasonably, as evidenced by his performance against Austin Witsit in the "Aether debate." On several occasions, Brian answered Austin's rhythmic chanting of nonsense with some on-topic statements. When the topic is wheat, a single grain of wheat in an ocean of chaff wins. Pity that Brian lacks the backbone to stand up for himself more often.
@@StringerNews1can you summarise debate you mentioned please?
Brian is the classic character of the joke where a car is going the wrong way on a highway, and when he listens on the radio that some lunatic is going the wrong way, he responds: “What do you mean just one? Everyone is going the wrong way!”
Oakley really has him convinced that he is their resident very very expert at CelNav, despite the fact that virtually every single word to ever come out of that hole in his face has been clearly shown to be objectively wrong by many different competent adults, many times over mind you.
The sad thing is he likes it. He likes feeling like an expert and does everything to keep himself one. He’s become a master of saying mountains of words while still saying nothing. He’s convinced that the more you say something the more it makes it right.
He has no idea he’s just a silly parrot.
@@Isolder74 Yup its quite a strange phenomenon indeed.
@@realcygnus What’s better is like his trainer, QE, he only thinks the quantity of citations is important rather then the substance and like his teacher does not expect anyone to check his sources. You’re just suppose to take his word for it. Is there a better way to play a keyword warrior?
@@Isolder74 Yup, if they did bother to check, even sometimes they wouldn't be flatties in the 1st place.
@@realcygnus He has the art of talking for hours without a smidgen substance down to a science.
It amazes me how these flerfs deny the ACTUAL EVIDENCE from the ACTUAL people who wrote the instructions on how to do Navigation.
And yet, they (The Flerfs) think they know how to do Navigation. Yet, when we ask them to provide EVIDENCE for their Navigation coordinates.
The flerfs show us Meme after meme, after meme. Then they run away.
Frankly, the only part about celnav they care about is the measuring of the angle. They have a definition they can push to say reading the angle means the world has to be flat because ‘reasons.’ It’s no different then before only more hidden. They look for the word horizontal and declare victory.
@@Isolder74 When you talk with a flerf about celestial navigation, it's best to use the simplest version that is using a bubble sextant since what we actually need is the angle to the star from the vertical. So we can completely ignore lines to the horizon, dip correction and stuff like that. We just directly measuring the angle to the vertical at our position and that directly gives us the angle we need. No triangles and no trigonometry involved. Flatzoid likes to claim that trigonometry and SOHCAHTOA is used in celestial navigation, even though he never EVER used the gunction sine, cosine or tangent in any of his "calculations". When asked where the 60 nautical miles per degree comes from, he just states that a sextant has 60° and that's it. This makes absolutely no sense at all.
@@Bunny99s Even when no triangles are involved they still insist that they have to be there. They can't be honest about anything. They are masters of the lie of omission, and of misdirection. Why else are they always chanting about curved adjacents and insisting that triangles are present with the only justification being that an angle is measured and 90 degrees in mentioned.
For they insist that all verticals are parallel and all horizontals are based on the same plane. They are just saying things without support at this point. Either liars or mindless parrots.
So basically nu uh. He’s only right because he says he is. He clearly has no idea what he is talking about.
Note, he’s learned the art of cherry-picking well from his teacher QE.
Let’s not forget, we are talking about the man who thinks any math that disproves him is a parlor trick, even math he’s used himself when it is used correctly against him. He thinks a rhumb line is a chord and not a surface track. Not to mention following with NO and his curved adjacent misdirection blindly and without question.
He’s a lost cause as long as NO coddles him as one of his little experts. Frankly he likes being treated as an authority figure.
Duly watched. OMFG. Brian is just so top left he has gone into orbit. 😂
"I don't understand anything, I don't know how it works but I know it's all wrong, therefore urf flat". They'll have to build an extention to top left to accommodate him.
Ever since the DFOTY awards I have voted for Brian and his very warped idea about logic.
Ah, Brainless' Illogic, his thoughtless verbal diarrhea can give us a laugh every time.
SKOY MOYLES!!
I will vote for Brian!!
Second that
hahaahhahaah poor brian
The supreme confidence in Brian’s delusion is just staggering. I wonder if that’s how he is when he goes to the doctor, or gets his car worked on by a mechanic, or needs a tradesman to fix something. He’d be a nightmare to work with!
I think mental illness should be an auto-disqualification from the Top Left award. I am not saying this in a joking way - I am saying it in a sad way. Brian, clearly suffers from a mental illness that causes all of this. It is sad because unlike Oakley and a whole host of other Flat Earthers, Brian seems like a good guy with a pretty funny sense of humor.
Brian needs to show how not to pull a claim from his behind!
His accent is so thick I can't understand what he's saying.
Hi Thad, you're way to charitable. Brian is a mindless liar.
Looking forward to your sight reduction video. 😊
Picked up a Bobby Schenk C&P for next to nothing. It's gorgeous.
