John Stewart is the most qualified Green Lantern being a Marine he has the will and bravery to weild the ring. His Architecture backgrounds gives him the creativity to make complex constructs. While Hal's pilot background shows he has bravery and Kyle's being an cartoonist makes him good for creativity. John really had the best of both.

@@jimmymagic7686 Yeah. They spoke about the film years ago, and recently confirmed the it was still planned. That's why Hal and John aren't present in the upcoming Green Lantern Corps show. They're being saved for the film. Of which John is going to be at the helm.

As I grew up outside of America John Stewart was my introduction to black superhero. I love his character. He is like my third favourite in JLA after Batman and Martian man hunter

About damn time! John Stewart is THE Green Lantern to me. He’s the one I grew up with and knew about him before Hal Jordan or any of the rest. Same with Wally West instead of Barry Allen.

As a kid I didn't even know the orignal Green Lantern was a white guy since there really wasn't that much media with Green Lantern aside from Justice League. I always identified Green Lantern being black with John Stewart and even till the modern day with knowledge of the other human Lanterns, John is still my favorite

I love Zacks movies but tbh.. Man of steel and BvS was not the movies u make to build a cinematic universe.. I bet he barely read any comics before making those movies.. they were bad movies. Superman he showed in that movie was not how Superman is.

Justice League the animated series real elevated his status in the DC universe same with most of the characters on the show. Definitely want a season 2 to Green Lantern the animated series.

I grew up on the JLU animated series and growing up John Stewart was one of my favorites. As a young black kid growing up his character was a inspiration.
John Stewart is my Green Lantern. I like Hal Jordan overall and have grown to see why people love him, but John will always be the Green Lantern who inspired me the most.
John Stewart says he doesn't want to wear a mask while being Green Lantern but Hal Jordan is the only Green Lantern I've ever seen where a mask

Mosaic is one of my favourite comic stories of all time. But two things to clarify about it being a mini series probably not. First there was the story in Green Lantern Vol 3 #14-17, at the time The GL title rotated focusing on different lanterns., so I guess it could be a mini series within a series. That was followed by a continuing series Green Lantern Mosaic that ran for 18 issues before being cancelled despite good sales.
