@acuraaddited. Hey sir how you been doing ? I hope everything is going well with you and your family. I have a question l know is not related to this video. Have you had any issue with your aisin timing belt kit from rockauto you installed in your MDX? I ask you because I have this aisin kit from rockauto installed in my MDX and I’m having a weird noise from engine bay when the car is warm and when the ac is on but it will make the noise with the ac off too. The sound is like grinding rocking noise , warbling noise some like that. Thank you and have a great day .
Hello. Thank you, all is well, I hope for you too! It's been over 3 years and 30K miles since I installed the kit from Rockauto, and there are no changes in the engine (or car in general) sound. The warble sound was there for me since day 1 I behan my ownership back in 2011, that was over two TB kits ago, so it's a normal sound even with the original TB from the factory. No grinding noise for me, though. Are you sure you installed everything correctly? If you have a grinding / rubbing noise that started after you installed the new TB, there might be an issue with alignment/installation. Did you swap the TB hydraulic tensioner pulley shim/sleeve from the old pulley to the new one?
@@AcuraAddicted yes my mechanic did swap the shim but I think I have a bad tensioner pulley or ac compressor pulley the thing is the noise is making is show up when the engine is hot but more noticeable when the heather is on. So I believe it can be like a bad pulley on the drive belt area.
@hanselldisla4643 That’s possible, however, why would it only become a problem after the TB change? One easy way to check is to take the drive belt off and start the engine without it. If the sound is still there, it has nothing to do with accessories.

Богдан, подскажите пожалуйста,у меня мех 08 года руль был тугой я поменял помпу чуть чуть лучше стало, поменял рейку еще чуть лучше стало но все равно тугой в чем может быть проблема ?
У меня есть ролик на тему тугости руля. Это очень субъективное и сравнительное понятие. Возможно, вам кажется, что тугой, хотя на самом деле такой же как у всех.
Если меняли рейку и помпу на оригинал, то остаются только шланги, может быть, где-то что-то забилось и недостаточное давление?
У меня 2007 года руль тоже тугой, мне кажется это особенность мдх, тут ничего не поделаешь
