Chris you’re videos are just awesome. I’m shocked you don’t have hundreds of thousands of subscribers yet, but I know you’ll be there soon! The quality of these videos is simply the best on RUclips.
This was a really great video. It showed me that I need to branch out a little more with my chord progressions, and I learned some new ways to do that. I knows tons of songs, but most of them seem to be in easier chord progressions, even if the fingerpicking is harder. I guess I always worked on a harder right hand than a harder left land, haha. The weirdest chord progression I know how to play is "When Everything Seems Wrong" by Ari Hest.
That’s great, even if you start using just one or two of these ideas it can make a big difference. Any time you learn a song and there’s a chord in it that you don’t quite understand the theory of, it’s worth questioning why that chord works. Then try writing your own progression that uses that concept. A great band for interesting chords is the Beatles.
One the most information dense videos on RUclips... thank you!
