Quite possibly the most ludicrous top-'n-tail imaginable: mainline express one way, and station pilot the other way!
Certainly an interesting combo, was the reason I went over to film that day!

Why were they top and tailed?
@@adamtravers856 Due to ongoing engineering work at Sharpthorne tunnel, the furthest locos can work is up to the south portal and obviously there’s no run around loop there meaning it had to be top & tailed.
